Maya P.O.V.

Teresa. Where did I hear that before? Did I know her? Thoughts filled my head. ''Hello?'' Teresa said snapping me out of my thoughts. ''Oh my name is Maya'' I said quickly ''Maya'' she whispered ''yeah what about it?'' I asked. What if she remembered my name somewhere too. ''Nothing you just have a beautiful name'' she said softly I smile she smiled back and sat down on the bottom bunk.

She looked up at me. ''Maya do you know exactly where we are?'' She asked me calmly ''Not really these people say they rescued us so I'm guessing we're at some safe place'' I said shrugging even though I didn't believe that but I didn't want to freak the girl out who I think is her 2nd or 1st day here. ''This place seems great new clothes water and food'' Teresa said with a smile. ''Yeah I think the food is so good in my opinion but sometimes it reminds me of this stew in the glade my friend used to make and wow was it bad'' I said grinning Teresa giggled.

All of sudden Pearl and Catherine came in arguing. Teresa jumped and quickly grabbed my arm frightened ''Hey don't worry these are my friends'' I said softly calming her she quickly let go of my arm a bit embarrassed. ''Who's that?'' Catherine asked ''Her name is Teresa and I think she'll be staying with us'' I said. ''Nice to meet you Teresa I'm Pearl and that's Catherine'' Pearl said with a friendly smile ''I can introduce myself'' Catherine said to Pearl sending her a look ''I'm Catherine'' Catherine said.

I rolled my eyes at the two girls who sent glares to each other. ''Oh also that purple haired girl is M-'' Pearl started but Teresa cut her off ''Maya yeah i know'' Teresa said with a small smile. I found myself smiling at that I don't know why I just did I bet I looked stupid. ''Isn't her purple hair weird?'' Pearl said jokily I rolled my eyes Pearl and I were clearly joking but Teresa didn't think that ''I don't think her hair is weird I like her purple hair it's beautiful'' Teresa said defending me. It was silent for about 2 minutes until I broke it ''why are you two arguing and sending each other looks?'' I asked Catherine and Pearl.

Pearl was about to say something until Catherine quickly cut her off. ''She was being bossy telling me what I can do and what I can't do like I think I know myself better then you'' she said angrily. ''You can't just go flirt with an guy when he has a girlfriend'' Pearl shouted at Catherine. Teresa and I just watched on ''That was his sister you idiotic b-'' Catherine said but was cut off before she could cuss by Pearl that was shushing her. ''Don't tell me shut up you freaking f-'' Catherine said angrily but again was cut off this time by me.

I looked at both of them. ''You guys need to both shut up and not argue like 2 year olds'' I said sternly. ''Yes mom'' Catherine said sarcastically ''yeah your right sorry C'' Pearl said with a sad smile. ''Sorry P'' Catherine said with a smile and gave her a hug. ''What's my nickname?'' I said pretending to be jealous ''M'' they both said I smiled. ''What about me?'' Teresa said quietly. ''T'' I said before Catherine and Pearl could answer she smiled. Her smile was the most prettiest thing the way she smiled the way her blue eyes stood out. She was mesmerizing.

Time pasted. Soon we were all going to sleep Teresa slept on the top bunk across from me I got under the covers and rested my head on the pillow. I drifted off to sleep.

"No one will love you'' Julia said with a wicked grin on her face.

I pushed her into the tree hurting her arm blood dripped.

'I was shocked at my actions ''I'm sorry'' I said with tears streaming down my face.

''Hell you don't even love yourself you're pathetic'' she spat.

''Are you Okay?'' Teresa asked waking me up. ''Yeah I'm fine thanks'' I said ''do you want to talk about it?'' She asked ''I'm fine'' I said. Teresa wasn't convinced but she left me alone for the rest of the night. I drifted off to sleep nightmares still there haunting me.
