Forever Mine (Sequel to Mine)

Chapter 26: New job...

{Jezzabelles Pov}

"Are you sure you wanna do this?" Linda asks as I nod,

"I don't wanna be living off of my husband or my fathers money my whole life" I say checking if my clothes for my interview was okay,

"But your to young to be getting a J, A, B" she says mimicking bow wows girlfriend in Madeas big happy family movie,

"I'm almost 19 now and I have a child if you don't remember, I wanna do something other than be a housewife" I say grabbing my purse and walking to the front door of the mansion as she follows with a sigh,

"Alright, but make sure you don't seem to appealing for the job" she says buttoning my blouse as I laughed before hugging her and walking out to  the car I recently bought for myself since Sebastian's always driving me places,

I checked my make up in the mirror before driving off to the place I applied for a couple of days ago. I turned in my application for a company down the street from Sebastian's company and they replied fast afterwards saying to come as soon as possible. From what I signed, the contract was for the position of the head managers assistant.

"Hello ma'am what may I help you with" The lady at the front desk with long red hair says with a smile as I got to the front desk of the first floor,

"I'm here for the interview for a Mr.Thompson?" I ask with a smile as she nods while typing on her laptop,

"10:30 interview for a Mrs.Black, take the elevator on your right to the top floor and it'll be at the end of the hallway" she says pointing to the elevators on my right as I nod before walking into the elevator with a nervous sigh,

I pushed the last button on the top of the buttons to the 50th floor making sure I looked okay on the mirrors around the elevator walls. I made sure my black skirt and white blouse was presentable for the job. The elevator opened as the grey walls of the hallway consumed my eyes. It was so quiet in the hall I didn't know if I was in the right place or not.

I got to the end of the hallway quickly since the the doors here was the only thing between the walls. I lifted my hand to knock on the door but a voice beat me to it.

"Come in Mrs.Black" A deep voice says as I almost jumped in shock but decided to keep myself calm and open the doors,

"Ahhh, the woman I've been wanting to see" A very tall and muscular man says sitting at his desk with his arms crossed as I smiled and sat down in the chair in front of his desk,

"Yes, I've been wanting to come to this interview as soon as I heard you were hiring" I say folding my hands as he looks me over with his light green and hazel eyes,

"Well I have only two questions you have to answer before I can tell if your the right woman for the job" he says rubbing his chin with a smirk,

"Have you had a job before this?" He asks as I shook my head,

"This is actually my first job interview" I say with a frown as he raised a brow before I intervined,

"But! I do have a lot of experience in paper work and being organized since I help my father alot in his office since I was a kid" I say quickly as he nods while looking over my resume,

"Says here your married and you have  a son. You don't look much of a mother type or wife to say the least since you look so.....pure and innocent" he says looking over my body as I gulped nervously,

"Well my husband and I got married right after I turned 18 since we met a few months before and after we got married he wanted to jump right into the baby stage" I say with a chuckle as he nods slowly,

"Looks like you listen to your husband often" he says as I smile,

"Just as long as he's happy then I'm happy" I replied as he frowns,

"Okay listen, I am willing to let you start today but the only rule I'm gonna give you is to never bring your personal relationship in this building okay" he says standing up and fixing his tie,

"Today? Already?" I ask nervously getting up since he was walking towards the doors to his office,

"Here, we have a meeting in three minutes and all you have to do is type down anything that comes out of my mouth" he says handing me a small iPad as I nod quickly following his long strides down the hall into the elevator,

"Thanks for hiring me sir" I say with a nervous smile as he turned to me with a side smile before looking forward as the elevator was going down,

"You can call me Dwayne" he says fixing his tie before the elevator stopped on the 30th floor and he walked out with me trailing behind him,

Unlike his floor there were many people on this floor, well mostly women. And I guess my new boss was known around here since all the women on this floor quickly glued their eyes onto him in a trance like stare as he walked to the end of the floor where a see through glass room was with a long table full of men in suits was.

"Coffee Mr.Thompson?" A woman that was wearing rather revealing clothes says quickly standing in front of him as he stopped and turned to look at her with an angry look,

"If your not my assistant don't give me anything" he says with a disgust look on his face as the woman's smile dropped quickly with fear and sadness before he roughly pushed past her making her fall back and drop the coffee all over her pink blouse,

I felt bad since she was only trying to be nice so I tried to lean down and help her up before a voice stopped me.

"You touch her and you'll break the record for the quickest person to be fired first day on a job" Dwayne says holding the see through door open for me as I smiled sadly at the woman before following an angry Dwayne into the meeting room,

"Sit" he says as I sit next to him at the head of the long table,

"This is my new assistant, don't mess with her unless you wanna die in the next two seconds" he announces while buttoning his black suit coat,

"New assistant? What happened to the last one?" One of the men says with a chuckle,

"I'm not complaining, this one is definitely an upgrade" Another man says as Dwayne rolls his eyes before opening the folder that was in front of him.
