You know when you meet someone new, the experience on how you meet them always differs from the last. You can't have a coin with identical sides. Everyone is different in their own respective way. Which can make meeting people harder each time because you don't know what to expect. It's as they say, man is unpredictable, you never quite know what they're thinking, you can only really guess. That in its own kinda makes meeting others just as fun as it is nerve-racking. I've never really been one to put myself out there, well most of the time at least, so when I'm graced with the opportunity to meet someone new, I always try to take it because you never know if you'll miss out on something you've been wanting to see or experience.

"Wake up, (Y/n). We're finally here." You felt your mother's palm shake your shoulder ever so slightly as you began to open your eyes. You sat up, a groggily feeling running through your entire body. You rubbed your eyes from your sleepiness and looked out the front window of your mother's car to see your new home.
"It took us ten hours, but we finally made it." She further commented, looking at the house then turning her head to you to see your expression.
"Wait. . ." You said suddenly, coming to a realization.
"I've been asleep for over five hours?" You asked, your sleepiness still lingering in your tone.
"Well, you did get up at six this morning, and I know that you're not exactly a morning person. Then we left around nine because we were still picking up some last minute things, that could've helped to drain your energy..." Your mom said, but you began ignoring her and just stared out the windshield of the car, looking over your new home. It was so much...bigger than your old home, the company your father worked for really took in consideration for your move. It might've been bigger, and nicer, but it would take you a long time before you could officially call this place home.
"C'mon, your father is waiting for us." Your mother said and proceeded to get out of the car. You did the same, shutting the door behind you and looking up at your new, imposing house. You sighed and began walking up to the front door, or rather, began climbing up the stairs to the front door. Once you had gotten to the top, your mother had opened up the door for you and her to enter and see the house for what it looked like on the inside.
"Whoa." You said in a tone that sounded amazed, but also quite dull.
"Wow, hun, they were willing to give us all this?" You heard your mother say to your father. You soon heard your parents begin talking to each other. Typical, boring business and adult conversation, nothing you had any interest in. Instead of just standing in one place, you began making your rounds around the house and you began taking mental notes on what and where everything was.
As soon as you entered the house you noted these things; the kitchen was large and located on the left side of the house, you knew your father was going to love it, there was a large window to the right and placed further back into the house, that had a view of the surrounding neighborhood, that would probably become the dining area or living room...or maybe a bit of both, there was also a modern looking staircase that you noticed immediately when you walked into the house.
Of course, you knew this house was going to have more than one story, it was blatantly obvious from the outside, but still, your interest was peaked. Throughout your entire lifespan, you had never experienced living in a two-story home. Almost every friend you had did, which made sleepovers twice as better. However, you soon found yourself thinking about it for too long and when you did, you shook your head of those thoughts and actually began climbing the stairs. It didn't take you long, and now you were able to get even more familiar with your new living space. Upstairs to your left were three rooms, and to your right, too. As you guessed it, they were all bathrooms and bedrooms. But now, you knew the layout of your new house.
