Ever since I've shown up it's been nothing but terrors for me. First, it was the run in with Haxus and now it's Sendak pulling out a fucking gun on one of my friends! He could've killed her. . .he was going to kill her. He was so close. Every time I think about these moments I feel worse and worse. I need some way to break away from all this, a way to actually find some sort of peace in this reality. I'll admit it, I'm scared. I'm more scared than I ever thought I'd be. I know that I should try and stand my ground, but how could I if I've never been exposed to these kind of situations? Oh great. . .now I'm thinking about it again—I hope Lotor is okay.

Shortly after the hug you had shared with your parents and Allura, things had seemed to resume as if nothing happened. However, there was a lingering atmosphere of fear hovering above each and every one of you.
Your mother had entered the kitchen, her phone in hand as she did. She was going to order a pizza for tonight. After everything that has been going on she hasn't really felt like cooking. Your dad had returned to his study, or the room he utilizes for work, and you and Allura had sat down at the dinning room table; apparently your mother had put it up when you were out.
"(Y/n). . ." She addressed you solemnly, but a flare was present in her eyes. You nodded your head once, awaiting for her to continue. Something had seemed to be buzzing in her mind, you couldn't pin point what it could've been exactly, but if you had to guess, you would probably think of it being something about y'all's run in with Sendak.
"How long have you known Lotor for?" Her question was sudden and nothing what you expected her to ask. She seemed slightly angered, her tone wasn't exactly pleasant when she asked. Sadly. . .you had an idea of why that was; Lotor had Galran genes running through his biology and you knew Allura wasn't the fondest of their race.
"Ever since I first came here." You answered, it was short and sweet, but it was the truth. However, your answer only seemed to irritate her more. Bitterness lined her features as if that emotion was the only one she could show.
"Don't trust him, (Y/n). He may seem different from the others but he's still a Galra." She begrudgingly spat, her words felt like they were punching you in the face. You felt yourself shrink while sitting in one of the dining room chairs, the aura around you changing to something mirroring guilt.
"But. . .he's been nothing but kind to me—and he helped protect you and I just moments ago." You had brought up a valid point to fight against her judgment. However, it only seemed to make the fire in her eyes grow. She suddenly stood up, quickly and sternly.
"I'm just warning you. I don't want nothing bad happening to you anymore. If you get involved with him you'll only put yourself in more danger." She says, a sympathetic glint in her eye but there was still a blue flame.
Just then, leaving you with that, she began to head out. She headed for the door, unlocking it and turning the bronze knob to leave. Of course, you were worried for her, but you knew she was only going to return home and she lived right behind you.
"I'll see you later." Allura says, almost mute then leaves quickly. You didn't even get the chance to greet her goodbye. You sighed, trying to forget everything that had happened throughout the day, but you knew nothing was going to work, so you just sat around and awaited for the pizza-delivery worker to arrive.
As soon as they did, you and your family dug in, as if you all hadn't had a slice of pizza in ages. After that you had returned to your room, changed into your pajamas and crawled effortlessly into your bed. You laid there like a board, stagnant and still. Looking up towards the ceiling while you let your thoughts reach throughout the vast corners of your mind. Your chest moving up and down quietly as you breathed, and your hand laying lazily on your stomach, your other close to your head. Slowly, thanks to the patter of the rain hitting against your window, your eyes began to wistfully close shut. . .and it didn't take you long to fall asleep. Your mind sending you into a dream world, where all your worries could be forgotten for a few hours.
