Chapter 13- "my voice cracks"

Blair's POV - a few weeks later

I wake up, sit up and get out of bed and check the time, 11:30 already. I go and have a shower. Once I'm out I dry myself and get dressed.

i straighten my hair and do a light layer of makeup. I put on my jewellery and my heels.

I shove on my leather jacket and my sunglasses. I connected my holster to my jeans and my badge at the other side.

"Where are you going?" Maze asks as she walks into the room. "Work" I reply and put my phone and wallet into my leather jacket.

"Why? I thought you had a little more time off?" She says and looks at me "yeah I do, but why should I let lucifer keep me from doing my job" I say and walk into the kitchen and eat the food maze made this morning.

I grab my keys off my desk and maze walks out and says "you can drop me off at work on the way to the precinct" I laugh and grab my house keys and walk out the door.

I close the door behind us and lock it. We head to the elevator and press the garage button. Eventually we get out the elevator and I walk over to my bike.

I get on as does maze. I put my house keys in my pocket and start up my bike and drive out the garage.

You see maze has been staying with me for a few day and pops in and sees me the days she doesn't, She's the best.

I drive in and out of traffic skilfully and drop mace off at her work. I drive quickly through the cars and vans.

I drive into the precinct car park and park my bike next to Marcus's. I turn off my bike, take the keys out and get off.

I run a hand through my hair and walk into the precinct. I walk down the first set of stairs. Then slowly walk down the last set as i spot lucifer and "candy".

I laugh quietly to myself and head into Marcus's office. "Hey Marcus" I say and take off my sunglasses. "Hey Blair what you doing here?" "I shouldn't let lucifer get the better of me, so I only needed time yesterday".

He nods and hugs me "I'm here if you need me" I hug him back and say "thanks Marcus it means allot". We break the hug and talk about a new case that the F.B.I sent us to finish.

After we finished talking I walk out his office and over to see Ella, dan and Chloe. Each of them hug me, I smile and say "I'll be alright but thanks for being there it means allot".

I briefed them on the new case and we start looking through evidence. I put my hand on my stomach as my daughter kicks me in the stomach.

I breathe slowly and Chloe walks up to me and says "are you ok" I nod and say "my baby girl can pack a kick" and laugh gently.

Chloe smiled softly as we continued looking through the evidence and talking back and forth between us.

The hours pass quickly. I'm currently sitting in my office waiting on dan and Chloe bringing in our killer.
