Y/N P.O.V
Everything was quiet.
Too quiet.
I sat in my room at 221B, considering everything that has happened in the past few weeks.
•I moved into Baker Street just as Mycroft planned.
•Sherlock found out that I'm a criminal, yet he thinks I have almost no ties to Jim.
•John and 'Mary' are married, does it count though- Mary isn't even her name???
•'Mary' is pregnant, I'm not sure that was planned.
•Sherlock started dating that woman from the wedding, I never bothered to learn her name.
•Sherlock started doing drugs again, Mycroft really screamed at me for that one.
•Still no word from Jim.
"Y/N." I looked up at my doorframe to see Sherlock's 'girlfriend'.
"That's your name isn't it?"
"Haven't you heard of knocking?" I snapped, glaring at her.
"Oh, Sorry." She giggled and I internally groaned.
"Sher and I are going out later, is that ok with you? You can come if you want?" I rolled my eyes and stood up.
"No thanks, I'll have more fun watching paint dry." She looked confused.
"I didn't know you were painting. I'll come back in a bit and we can hang out, have some girl time!" She left before I could tell her to "piss off" and Sherlock appeared at my door.
"Oh, do you want to have 'girl time' as well?" I asked sarcastically and he came into my room.
"No." He sighed.
"You're not stupid, you know what's really going on." I nodded my head and he closed my door, making me a little more cautious of what the curly haired detective was doing.
"Correct, and I must say. I don't appreciate it. Charles is an acquaintance of mine, using his assistant to get to him isn't the smartest move." He raised an eyebrow.
"How did you know she was his assistant?" I shook my head and chuckled.
"You are the master of deduction, whereas I am the queen of Manipulation and lying. I do my research on everyone and everything." He looked slightly impressed.
"Your little girlfriend was easy to find information on."
"Ashworth. You worked for the American Government for a while with your older sister, but you left." I flopped down on my bed.
"Thanks for telling me useless information that I already know. And, Mika is my adopted sister, I have never blood relation to any of them." He made a face of realisation.
"Tough childhood. Now I remember. Grandparents if I'm correct?" I nodded and looked at him, he was staring at me as if I was the most alien object he had ever seen.
"How do you do it? I've met people who were abused as children and they're so... timid." I scoffed at him.
"You think I'm special because I'm not shy?" I couldn't help but laugh.
"You're strange, Sherlock Holmes, I'll give you that. If you want to know so badly I'll tell you." He narrowed his eyes at me.
"I turn my pain into rage, my memories into determination and my hate into strength. That's my secret." Without another word, Sherlock left.
Sherlock's P.O.V
Y/N is a peculiar human being.
I exposed her as a dangerous criminal and she did nothing.
I questioned her about her childhood and she told me her secrets.
Something makes me want to trust her, but there's a nagging feeling whenever I'm close to her. A sort of danger alarm.

After a little bit of persuasion, Mycroft agreed for me to take a few days off, a week at most.
I couldn't have been happier to go back to my mansion and flop down onto my bed.
"It's good to see you kiddo." Mike laughed as soon as I saw him, coming home.
I smiled at him and sighed.
"It's a shame it's not for too long." I decided to catch up on some work that I've missed whilst staying at 221B and headed up to my office.
My eyes widened in surprise when I saw Jim, the one and only, dancing around my office, with his headphones in and his eyes closed. I laughed quietly and stood in the doorframe, holding back my excitement.
After about a minute, he stopped dancing and opened his eyes, before turning around to face me.
"Hi." I laughed and he looked at me with a deadly serious face.
Jim began walking towards me, amusement in his eyes, and I stood still, waiting to see the outcome.
He became impossibly close and without a second thought, our lips collided.
His arms wrapped around my torso, pulling me closer to him, and my hands slid up to his hair, playing with it.
"I missed you." He whispered after pulling away slightly.
He kissed me again, but this one was short and sweet compared to the previous fiery passionate one.
"I missed you too." He pulled away completely, but held my hands.
"This is complicated, but I have to leave again soon." My mood dropped and I looked at him with a sad pout.
"But soon, everything will be fine. I promise."
