“I can always tell what you’re feeling by your eyes, but recently, they’ve been quite disoriented” his thought broke the steaming silence.
I nodded slightly. They’ve been disoriented because you lead me on, kiss another girl, run back to me, then offend me, dummy. I scowled at the thought.
“Are things ever going to be the same again?” he pressed.
My patience was running low, very low.
“Are they?” I snapped.
He winced but eased himself, determined.
“Look, we have history, me and Hunter, but I don’t love her. I love you. Nothing can change that, until we die - even after - I will always love you.” he leaned a little closer to see my expression. To my surprise, I didn’t have one.
