Birthday Boy

"Happy birthday to you... Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday dear Will. Happy birthday to you"

Belinda sang quietly to William as he woke up. It was his birthday, 21 years old.

"What time is it?" Will mumbled half asleep.

"It's 10:30 and I'm too excited to wait to give you your presents so come on wake up" answered Belinda while jumping on the bed in an attempt to make Will get up.

"Is my present you naked underneath me?" Will asked with his eyes still closed and Belinda gasped and stopped jumping.

"No! You sick perv!" shrieked Belinda while hitting Will with her pillow.

"Hey hey hey. No hitting the birthday boy" Said William while taking away her pillow.

"I'm not hitting the birthday boy. I'm hitting a sick perv" She gigged as she ploped down next to him. She knew he was kidding but sometimes she just had to smack some sense into him.

"Anyways come on get up. Of you go to get cleaned up" She said while pushing Will off of the bed. He reluctantly agreed and 10 minutes later they sat in the living room. Will still half asleep and Belinda jumping in excitement.

"Okay so first surprise" Said Belinda as she got up and sprinted to the kitchen.

She came back with a big cake that said 'Happy Birthday William the Army man'

"You did this?" He asked while chuckling in amusement. Belinda just nodded and cut him a piece waiting for him to taste it. She wanted to see if he liked it or not and she was nervouse about it.

"Woah. Chocolate cake my favourite" He said looking at Belinda with a glint I'm his eyes. She sighed in relief and waited until he ate his piece to give him his next present.

"Next present. But first clean your face. You got a little frosting... everywhere." She told him laughing at his frosting covered face and left the room. Will did as he was told and then Belinda came back with a couple of presents.

He opened his gifts and he was more than shocked to see what they were. On the first bag there were three new games for his PS3.

The second one was an Armani cologne and the third one was a framed picture of him and Drew.

"How did you"

"I talked to some of your colegues and one of the few I could get a hold on had taken this picture of you guys but could never give it to you because..."

"It was the day of the ambush" he finished.

"Thank you so much" He said as he tackled her in a hug. She just laughed and hugged him back.

"Did you like it?" She asked him while rubbing his back. Will just nodded and hugged her tighter.

The day was spent eating cake and Will playing his video games while Belinda read a book. Him sitting on the floor and Belinda on the couch. She would  subconsciously play with his hair on ocassions and he would pause the game just to kiss her or tell her he how much he loves her.
