Jj- Marnie where are you your 45 minutes late ? You still coming ? Xxx
This was so unlike Marnie to be late ! She's more likely to be 45 minutes early
I texted her again
Jj- Marnie I'm so worried I'm coming to your house to pick you up stay there
I rushed to get my keys and sprung into my car. I drove speedily down the road and just over halfway my heart died. I saw a traffic jam , 2 cars smashed up and police all around. One of the cars had the number plate "marn 133" which I recognised as marines straight away.i left my car in the traffic jam, pulled the keys out and stumbled up the line of traffic. My heart was racing . Ambulances were driving towards the scene from the other direction. I pushed past the police towards marines car.
"Sir you can't go there it's a crime scene" the officers shouted.
"That's Marnie mason! That my girlfriend , I have to be with her " I shouted with tears rolling down my cheeks. They let me past and I saw her red bloody body wheeled into the ambulance I followed her and 3 nurses into the back of the ambulance.
"Im her girlfriend" I said to them panicking
"Ok can you tell us her name and age and if she had any medical problems sir" they asked me quickly and politely
"Marnie her names Marnie mason she is 20 and no she is fine" I answered trying not to trip on my nervous words.
She looks so hurt and it killed me to think she was coming to see me when this happened.
I wanted to hold her in my arms so bad but the nurses were surrounding her and helping her so I knew it was best to stay out the way.

We arrived at the hospital and I was asked to wait outside the room while they helped Marnie.
They gave me her phone while she was in there
On her phone there was a text from joe
Joe- I'm sorry Marnie , it was a mistake from both halves , I know your angry with yourself but it's my fault I'm sorry.
My body filled with rage as I read the text ! What did he do to her.
I put that to the side as I had to call her family
"Hello mrs mason it's Jj I'm really sorry to say this but marines been in a crash and she's badly hurt were at the hospital" I said trying not to cry
"I'll be right there" I hear her voice trembling
I called simon and told him as he's her best friend so him and tobi were coming down too
Marines mum , dad and sister arrived not long after "where is my little girl" marines mum said shaking
"She's in there she's in good hands" I said hugging her then her sister and dad.

Time passed slowly and as soon as the nurse let people in I rushed to the door "only 3 people she insisted" I looked behind me to see her family "you go in!" I said "she would want you to be there first" I said allowing them in
"She's not awake yet though but keep talking to her the nurse told her family and then entered the room and shut the door.

About 5 minutes later Simon and tobi arrived but joe was with them too. What was he doing here!
"What did you do to her" burst out my lips as I saw joe "I saw the text you sent her, why did u make her angry and sad"
"Jj we need to talk" joe said
He took me to one side
"Jj listen I'm so sorry we slept together but it was a massive mistake as were just best friends"
I felt my heart drop and my eyes become full of tears
I ran instantly to the toilet where I cried in a cubical
Simon came in shortly after
"Hey Jj , I heard what happened but Marnie needs you right now and the nurse is letting a different 3 people in because her family are out." He spoke softly
"I love her simon" I said inbetween sobs
"And she loves you too, she was only hurt by what you did, you've both made a mistake but I know you will be ok" he said calmingly
