~ Sai's P.O.V ~
My whole body is aching...
After the Sports Festival I went with my Canadian flamingo companion, who's also the doctor who fixed my arm 4 years ago.
He's very reliable and sort of works as an underground doctor. He also has a hero license, but he's only a hero for the privileges to get a hold of expensive equipment, but not really pay for it. He's also a huge sadist...
But enough of that, I now live with Aizawa again since his injuries are healed now. Which is amazing, since I don't have to deal with Yamada's cooking anymore.
I still go to Katsuki's place to learn cooking, since his mother demands it. She thinks I'm a good influence to Katsuki, which I think is ridiculous. I'm the worst influential person ever, maybe not as bad as creep. But still... That woman has way to high hopes on me...
It's been two days break from the festival and I'm now sitting in my seat inside the classroom now, after having been dealt with a bunch of scolding from my classmates. About me being to reckless and what not... Waiting for Aisawa to turn up and tell us what we're supposed to do, though I already know what we're going to in the next few days...
Internship.... With heroes..... Yuck...
"Morning." Aisawa came in, now with a scar below his right eye. It suits him for some reason.
"Aizawa-sense, I'm happy you were able to remove your bandages!" Tsu greeted, others agreeing with her.
"The old lady got over dramatic with her treatment. But let's put that aside. Today's hero informatics period is a little special." Aizawa informed, making everyone in class tense.
"It's time to formulate your codename. Your hero names." He said, making everyone cheer in excitement. There is no way in hell I'm creating a 'hero' alias.. I'm not gonna be one anyway... It was like Aizawa knew what I was thinking, because he was now giving me a death glare saying 'do it or else'.
"This is related to the draft nominations by pros I mention the other day. The nominations will truly start mattering only after you've gained some experience and your adaptable fighting ability is judged during during your sophomore and senior years..." Aizawa started, getting our attention. "In other words, the nominations you're getting this year are more akin to expressions of 'interest' in your future potential. And it's not rare that that interest dries up by graduation or simply unilaterally dropped."
I could feel how tense everyone got from this explanation. Being a hero is a crap business filled with corruption, I really hate how divided the society has become because of this business. Heroes, villains... It's all crap...
"So I guess the nominations we received are like personal hurdles, then?" Hagakure asked excitedly.
"Yes. Now the tally of nominations is as follows," Aizawa put on the result on a big Tv screen, showing the incredibly divided nominations. It was easy to see who were the most popular... "Typically the results are more balanced. But this year all the attention leaned towards three of you."
It was Todoroki, Katsuki and I who were the most popular. Todo at the highest with 4123 nominations, then Katsuki with 3556 and then me with 3465. Why am I so popular?! I didn't do anything remarkable!!
"Damn, it's so clear it's practically black and white!" Kaminari groaned from his seat.
"Look though 1st and 2nd places are the reverse!" Kirishima stated looking at the screen.
"Seeing him all straight-jacketed on the winner's stand must have scared 'em off..." Sero guessd, making me cough in my hand to hide a laugh. Wished I could have seen that, but we can't have everything~.
