8. Ugly dude on my side? strange...

i just walked out. not stomping. not running. no tears. no smiles. just regular walking. i knew Kyle was following. like i cared. i just thought he was going to try to "talk" to me but instead he slammed me against the lockers. he wants to fight? he'd better have practiced when he was 2. because then, well hes dead. literally. he kissed me. i tried to pull away. except he pushed me against the lockers. i wasnt going to give in though. never. not in my life.

*****Shawn's POV***

i was walking down the hallways doing absolutely nothing. the guys were too beat up to come at all. all because of that girl. here friends say her name's Haven i think. i was minding my own business until i saw a new dude sucking faces with Haven. i looked again. Haven was trying to squirm out of his reach but she couldnt. she was trapped. i saw her eyes were filled with fear. then she looked at me. her eyes asking me to help her. i didnt think i just acted. i pulled the dude of of Haven. then the dude tried to punch me.

he tried but i ducked. then i kicked him in the stomach. it was a fight. i saw Haven from the corner of my eye. she mouthed thanks.

***Haven's POV***

i mouthed thanks to him and jumped on Kyle's back forcing him down i punched him square in the face. HA!!! serves you right.

"Thats for coming to this school." i muttered as i punched him.

"thats for making all my friends' hearts' melt."

"AND THATS FOR STEALING MY FIRST KISS!!" I screamed in his face.

i punched him in the ribs so hard i heard a cracking noise. i was to mad to feel sorry. i got off of him and ran. there was no way i wanted to get caught. although i still felt like kicking more butt. that dude Shawn was really helpful. good kid. he knows not to get on my bad side. i went back into the cafeteria. i sat back down in my seat and started eating my lunch. like nothing was wrong.

"What was that all about?" Alyce asked me suspiciously.

"just needed to get something from my locker." i lied.

"wheres Ky..."Ever asked.

before she could continue there was someone on the loudspeaker.

"Will the person who injured Kyle please come to the main office." a secretary said.

everyone got quiet. everyone looked around. they all had the same thing in their mind probably. Who hurt him?

then slowly the cafeteria came back to life everyone chatting about who kicked his butt. then Shawn came up to me.

"can i talk to for a sec?" ye asked looking at me.

"nope." i said.

before he could say anything else the bell rang. i never thought i would be so happy for a class in my life.
