As always. I wake up and get some-what nice clothes on.

We only have a little time left to get the rest of the money. We're so close though!! It makes me super excited that we actually have a fair chance at winning this. I don't know what I'd do if my dads job got taken away!

I go into the work area. Garth has grease and dirt all over him.

"Damn, really working hard today aren't you?" I say.

"Only for you" he smiles.

"What about my dad?" I laugh.

"Well yeah duh" he says.

I walk over to my dad. He looks kinda nervous and unsteady.

"Hey Dad, whats wrong?" I ask genuinely.

"We only have a few days left and I'm really nervous! What if someone beat us?! What if we're not even close? What if we get our home taken away from us!?" He says panicked.

"Dad!..it's okay, we'll be fine. I promise" I smile at him to try and take his nerve away.

He smiles.

"Okay I trust you. I'm just overreacting" he says.

"I know it's hard. But we'll get through it" putting my hand on his shoulder.

He looks over his shoulder at my smiling and more steady.

"Okay now get to work!" He says smiling but pushy.

"Sir, yes sir!" I say.

                                )))♡(((

6 hours pass and Garth looks like he was hit by a cloud of dirt and ash.

"Training?" Garth asks.

"Yeah no, you need a shower!" I laugh.

He looks down.

"It's not that bad" he says.

"Seriously...go look in the mirror" I laugh.

Garth walks over to the mirror.

"Ahh!" I hear Garth yell.

He comes out with a wet cloth whipping his face laughing.

"Holy shit you weren't kidding. But I don't have time for a shower right now" he says rubbing the ash and grease off his face.

"Pfft boys" I say under my breath.

                              )))♡(((
We grab our stuff and head over to the field for training.

We get there and Garth says-

"Wanna Rock Paper Scissors it?"

"Ooooh you're going down" I reply.

We Rock Paper Scissors for who gets to take their turn destroying a dummy first and I win.

"HA TOLD Y-" I get cut off with Garth tackling me to the ground.

An arrow goes shooting past us.

I look up to see a masked man riding a horse a ways away. Quickly I bring myself to a stand and load my bow. I widen my stance for balance, stretch my bow back and shoot.

I hit his sword off the side of his horse, exactly where I planned. The shot startles the mans horse to rear.

He falls to the ground. I sprint over to try and grab the closest weapon to him but he beats me to it. Regardless I keep running to get a little closer. I don't have a very good long shot and missing would be bad, because I don't wanna hit him.

I come to a sudden stop when I see an arrow plunge through him. I cover my mouth and start to tear up.

"Garth?!? Did you-" I can't even finish the sentence, I feel incredibly sick.

I look back to see him just as shocked, he's shakes his head and points to the far right of him.

I see another man on a horse, unmasked this time though.

"You!- you kil-" I choke on my own words as I shout at the mysterious man.

"That could've been you if I hadn't shown up" the man says. He has a beard and a tidy haircut.

"Who- WHO ARE YOU?!" I shout fiercely, starting cry as the dead man lays in-front of me.

"I'm aware of your plans" he says.

My stomach drops. He knows about our plot with the king- but how??

"Wha- how.?! Who sent you??" I say.

"No one. I live in these woods. I watch you two practice everyday. And overhear your conversations" He says.

"I wanna help!" He continues.

"Wait are you serious?!" Garth says while walking over.

"Dead serious, uhh..well maybe not as dead as him" he says and gestures at the body and scoffs.

"You're sick..." I say.

"So...? Can I help or not?" He says.

"How should we trust you?!" I say.

"Lets say if I, or someone else wanted you dead, you would've been by now" he says.

My stomach turns at the idea. I glare at him.

"Alright, why do want that bastard of a so called 'King' gone?" I say.

"He...took something from me. My- daughter actually..because he wanted me as one of his hitman, I refused so he...-he took her. My world, the only thing I have left of..Sierra" a tear streams down his cheek.

"I'm really sorry. Me and Garth can relate. Well mostly Garth but we both know the feeling of losing someone you love" I say.

He smiles for a second, gets off his horse and walks over.

"I can help. Get back whatever he took from you. Even if I can't get it back physically, knowing he's gone would help everyone. And knowing that it would make your Mother and brother so proud" he says.

"How do you-" I say. I look into his eyes, and I realize something. This isn't just any man. I knew he looked familiar...

"Sean??-" I choke out.

He and hugs me, I'm standing there in shock with tears streaming down my face.

"Lilith??? You know him?!" Says Garth.

Sean releases from the hug and stands beside me.

"This is my mother's brother, my- uncle" I say.
