A few weeks later, school finally started and Miho had just finished preparing for the day ahead. Fortunately, being in the Fashion Department, he was allowed to alter his school uniform.
He trimmed his pants and sewed the hems (they didn't have anything his size). Now, it reached just below his knees. His top was half-tucked in and half not. Picking up his backpack, he left his apartment eith a slight skip in his steps. Breakfast had never been a part of his mornings; rarely did he eat before school.
He was unaware of the stares he received as he walked through the city to get to his school, Jae Won High School. His white locks and crimson orbs caught much attention, and his overall cute appearance caught the girls' attention.
They would comment about how cute he was, how fashionable he looked even though he was just wearing a school uniform, and how his foreign looks seemed quite the exotic thing. Miho Di glanced at his phone to check the time.
There are thirty-eight minutes left before class starts and it would take me about fifteen more minutes to get there. "I have plenty of time." He murmured under his breath and pocketed his phone, not at all looking forward to school.
He took in the sight of the city and praised the people living here for making their home cleaner than he had expected. Back at his hometown, there was trash everywhere he looked and if an outsider came, they would probably think the place to be incredibly sketchy... and frankly, Miho couldn't deny it.
This city appeared better in his opinion. In his hometown, everywhere he looked, there was flirting. When he looked right, there was a girl flirting with a guy. When he looked left, there was a guy flirting with a girl.
When he looked up, there was a couple flirting in the balcony. When he looked down from the balcony, there were couples everywhere flirting with each other. What was with this place? City of Love 2.0?
Soon enough, he reached school. His eyes sparkled in delight as he realized that his new school was bigger than he expected.
As soon as he stepped foot into school grounds, students started gossiping about his exotic appearance. A few girls were talking about who would approach him and talk to him.
But of course, Miho was unaware of everything around him. The only thing he could really focus on right now was the fact that his new school was one of the most unique ones out there. After all, what kind of school allowed their students to alter their uniforms if they belong to the fashion department? Miho was sure none of the nearby schools did the same.
"Hey, watch where you're going!"
"I'm sorry."
Miho's ears perked up at the sound of someone yelling and someone apologizing. Curious, he stopped and look to wherever the commotion was.
The brunet (who was probably the one who yelled earlier) gaped at the person beside him. Miho arched an eyebrow. He was tall, lean and he couldn't decide if he was one of those pretty boys. It was difficult to tell when he was facing the other direction.
Miho couldn't see his face. There were a few more gossips about that tall student but the white-haired teen already looked away. After all, he still needed to find the school office to get his schedule.
