"Hello!"

Daniel's mother greeted them enthusiastically. Despite her exhaustion, she really wanted to make a good impression on her little Danny's friends. 

"Oh please, come in. How have you been? Daniel's sleeping but... I see Daniel has many friends. That naughty Daniel is just sleeping while his friends are here... I'll wake him up." Daniel panicked, fear flashing in his eyes.

"No, no, no! Please don't wake him up!"

Mrs. Park sheepishly smiled at them. "I know the place is a mess. I didn't have time to tidy these boxes." Miho, seeing little Daniel's mom again, smiled at how caring and loving Mrs. Park was. "It's fine," the albino chimed in. "We did come over without telling you, Mrs. Park."

The woman beamed at him. Miho suddenly shrugged off his jacket and plopped down beside Mrs. Park, tying his bangs up with a rubber band. "Why don't we help you with these? It's the least we can do for coming unannounced."

"What? This is no work for a guest. I do get five dollars a day for it, ho ho." The albino began humming as he folded the boxes into rectangles, his lips curved into a childish smile. "How have you been, Mrs. Park?" The woman couldn't stop smiling.

This child was a bundle of happiness.

"I've been doing fine." However, Miho could tell she was lying. He inwardly frowned when he realized who little Daniel inherited his stubbornness from. Miho made small talk with her until she retired to bed.

"The guy sleeping... he's my and Miho's friend. He's living with me and... I came to help him with a problem he has." Daniel said, looking a bit sheepish as he glanced at his classmates. He knew the both of them weren't used to this kind of environment.

Jay and Miho were pretty rich, after all.

A few hours later, little Daniel woke up. He didn't really know how he was going to interact with Jay in this old body of his. He didn't know how the blond would treat him now that he wasn't attractive anymore. "H- Hi." 

He cringed at his awkward greeting. Couldn't he get any more awkward that he currently was? "I've- I've heard a lot about you. I'm Daniel and I live with Daniel. Haha, yeah, we have the same name." The urge to crawl in a hole grew stronger.

When he thought that Jay decided that he was not worth his time, the blond surprised him by offering a gum. "... you're offering? You chew it to quit smoking? Oh, um, thank you." Daniel felt his heart grow warm. Jay was really kind like he had thought.

"Oh? You really did quit smoking?!" Daniel wasn't at all surprised when Miho whisper-yelled beside him. After knowing him (and learning more new things about him), his random outbursts no longer surprised him. 

What caught his attention, however, was how Miho seemed to be absolutely proud of Jay. The blond simply smiled and began twirling Miho's white locks like he usually did. The usual bitter feeling Daniel felt on occasions when other people touched Miho never appeared. 

Although, Daniel couldn't tear his eyes away from the scars littering Miho's arms. They were short in length but there was a ton of them. What relieved him was the fact that there were no scars on his wrists.
