Act 9.5

It was supposed to be a normal morning where he would get up, eat breakfast and go to school. However, that wasn't what happened.  Sure, he woke up on time but he barely moved from his bed. His head ached and his neck stung.

Throwing a glare at his bird friend, Miho sat down on his bed with a groan while Mii-chan merrily chirped near the open window. He threw the blankets off of him and went inside the bathroom, wincing at the sight of himself once he stood in front of the mirror.

He looked absolutely horrible.

After taking a quick shower, he grabbed a roll of bandages from the cupboard and bandaged his head, wrapping it from his jaw to the top of his head. He winced every time he put too much force but thankfully, he finally finished.

He quickly put on his uniform and grabbed a piece of bread from the table and left his apartment but not before sticking his tongue out at Mii-chan. Locking the door, he halted to a stop when he heard someone gasp.

Facing the source of the sound, he found his neighbor blushing wildly while looking at him. He tilted his head in confusion but still smiled at her. "Good morning."  He shrieked in surprise when the woman started bleeding from the nose.

What the heck?! Why was she bleeding?! No one punched her on the nose or anything! "A-Are you okay?" A gust of wind lifted the white locks splayed on his neck and when his neighbor caught sight of it, she fainted.

He dropped his bag and approached the fallen form of his neighbor.

Just what was going on in his morning?!

Because of the weird incident this morning (Miho wasn't even sure what actually happened to his neighbor), he arrived late at school. He came around break time and since no one was in class, he went straight to the cafeteria.

Seeing his pretty friend, he beamed at his direction. "Daniel!" 

Daniel stopped talking when he heard his friend's voice. He was about to greet him back when he noticed his friend's unusual (and extremely worrying) appearance. There were visible eyebugs on his countenance and bandages wrapped around from his jaw to his head.

Just as he was about to inquire where he got those injuries, Daniel's (as well as Jay's) eyes zeroed in on the bruises on Miho's neck. Jay choked on his own saliva at the sight while the fork in Daniel's hand slipped from his hold.

On the other side of the table, idiot hairs stood up on Mira's head when she realized what happened to Miho (well, it was just a conclusion in the end anyway). She became a blubbering mess when she tried to ask where he got those marks from.

Beside her, Zoe's jaw dropped in shock when she noticed the marks marring the foreigner's neck. Snapping out of her stupor, she dialed 911.

Zack had just arrived in the cafeteria when he spotted his classmates making weird expressions. He was nearing them and noticed Miho looking at each and every one of them with a worried face. He reached his hand out to pat the boy on the hand once he neared him but he tripped on nothing when he saw the marks littering his neck.

He didn't get up from the floor.

On another table, Jace was comforting Vasco with a deadpanned expression. Why is Vasco muttering things about an evil-doer taking away Di's innocence? When did Di become innocent anyway? Did Vasco forget that he can take men twice his size? It confused him, really but Jace still comforted his best friend in the end.

Duke... well, Duke knew he couldn't really do anything so he just watched on the sidelines as Daniel and Jay started hovering around Miho like overly-protective boyfriends. The rapper noted to talk to Miho in the near future about what he does in his free time.

Meanwhile, a random student gave Miho and co a what-the-fxck-why-are-they-so-weird-and-are-they-even-sane-please-shut-up-what-the-hell-are-they-even-going-on-about look.

"Miho, where did you get those marks?!"

"*makes wild gestures and a frown marring his lips*"

"Hhw-ahw-wha- I- what- wa-"

"911?! It's an emergency!"

"..."

"Jace... Jace, someone violated Miho."

"What the heck are you talking about, Vasco?"

"... they look like children."

"What the fuck? Are they escapees from an asylum?"

Meanwhile, a certain neighbor was muttering things under her breath as she sleeps because of a sleeping drug.
