Roommates (Bellarke fanfic)

Chapter 4

Clarke's pov

I wake up to my alarm. I look at the clock and it's 6.40 am. I have plenty of time to get ready. I shower and after I have dried my hair I start eating breakfast. I have a banana, I am really not that hungry in the morning. I am about to leave and Bellamy still hasn't woken up. I knock on his door. No answer. Should I open it? I should, he needs to go to school. I open the door and no one is there. Where the hell is he?

I start walking to school when I see Miller.

"Miller!" I yell and walk to him.

"Hi Clarke." He says and hugs me.

"It's so nice to see you." I say and smile.

"Why are you here?" I ask.

" I just transferred here. My family moved back from the U.S." He tells me.

Millers dad works in the military so they moved around alot. I haven't seen him for 2 years. We kept in contact through text but that's all. We have been best friends since we were little.

"We should get to class." I say and we walk in to the school.

"Did you see Bellamy? He came to school with some girl." I hear a girl tell her friend.

"I think her name is Gina or something." Her friend says.

"Clarke?" Miller says and looks at me.

"Yeah." I say.

"My class is this way. See you at lunch?" He asks.

"Yes, see you." I say and smile. I walk to my class and sit next to Finn.

The girls I heared talking about Bellamy in the hallway sit infront of me.

"Bellamy is so hot. Why can't he notice me?" The girl with the glasses say.

"Why is everyone in this school so obsessed with Bellamy?" Finn asks.

"Exactly! He isn't anyone special." I say and he nods.

"Maybe you think that because you have no chance with him." The girl with the glasses says to me.

"Excuse you. I think you need a new prescription, if you can't see how beautiful she is." Finn says and the girl goes silent. She just turns around and looks at her friend.

"Finn. Thank you." I say and smile.

He doesn't say anything he just smiles back.

I found out later today that the students at this school rank top 4 hottest girls and guys. One of each year. I know I won't make the list.  They guys on the list are Bellamy, Miller, Atom and Finn. In that order. Atom is the oldest, then Miller, Bellamy and youngest Finn. Some girls were passing the list of the girls. I start reading it. Harper, Gina, Raven and Clarke. What? I am on the list. What? How?

"What?" Finn asks me. I guess I looked pretty surprised.

"I am on the list." I say and smile.

"Me too, but I don't think it's a big deal." He says and takes the paper from my hand and passes it along.

"Yeah, I don't think that anyone even cares about that." I say and shrug it off.

The class ends and i have lunch. I start walking to the cafeteria and I feel everyones eyes on me. I guess the people now know how I am. I am getting alot of attention. Guys are looking at me and girls are smiling at me.I get to lunch and find Miller.

"Hi!" I say as I sit down.

"Hey, I saw that you made the list Clarke. Congrats!" Miller says and smiles.

"Thanks, I don't even know what it means." I say and laugh.

"Some of my friends that have been here for a while told me that you will be getting alot of attention. People are going to notice you." Miller says and smiles. He has always enjoyed being the center of attention. Me not so much. I just rather watch from the side. I guess that is going to change.

"Hello, hello." I hear Jasper say and him and Monty sit down.

"These are Monty and Jasper." I say to Miller. The boys wave at him.

"And this is Miller my-" I get cut off mid sentence by Jasper.

"Boyfriend."

"No Jasper, he is my friend. We have known each other since we were little." I say and laugh. They lauch as well.

"So Clarke you made the list. That's a big deal." Jasper says.

"It has been his goal to make it since we were little. I just think it's stupid." Monty says and rolls his eyes.

"What stupid about it? You are one of the best looking people at the school. You get so much attention." Jasper says.

"I would have rather not made the list." I say quietly.

"What?" Jasper asks, more like yells.

"I dont'like being the center of attention." I say.

"Well you better get used to it because there is nothing you can do to change it. You have to live with it until the new lists get made next year." Jasper says.
