Clarke's pov

(unedited)

After school is done Miller and I decide to go to get some food and catch up. We go to a small cafe near by. We sit down at a table near the window. Miller starts telling me stories about his family and what he had done during the years he was away.

"Hi, are you guys ready to order?" I hear a familiar voice ask.

I look up from the menu and I see Bellamy.

"Oh, I didn't know you worked here." I say surprised.

"Who's this?" Miller asks.

"He is my roommate. It's a long story, but to put it short. We both thought we were different roommates and I we will move apart when we find good apartments." I say.

"Okay. I am Miller." Miller says and puts his hand out.

"Bellamy." Bellamy says and shakes his hand.

"So what do you want to eat?" He asks.

"I'll have the green salad and a coke." I say and close the menu.

"I'll have the same thing." Miller says and smiles.

"Okay." Bellamy says and leaves.

"So is he nice?" Miller asks as soon as Bellamy is at a distance that he can't hear us.

"Who?" I ask.

"Bellamy, you dummy." He says and laughs.

"I wouldn't say that." I say and laugh a little.

"I guessed that. He didn't really seem like a nice guy to be honest." He says and I nod in agreement.

After about 10 minutes Bellamy brings us our food. We eat it quite quickly.

"So it's a total of 26 pounds." Bellamy says.

I start looking for my wallet.

"I got this." Miller says and smiles.

"No, we are going to split it." I say and hand Bellamy 13 pounds.

"No, I want to pay for this Clarke." Miller says and takes the money from my hand.

"Okay fine then." I say and laugh. Miller laughs as well.

"Here." Miller says and hands Bellamy the money.

"So, when are you getting off work?" I ask and smile.

"In an hour." Bellamy says.

"Is it okay if Miller comes to our place until you come home?" I ask.

"No." Bellamy says.

"Bellamy we need you here. Stop flirting and come here." Some guy yells at him from the other side of the cafe.

"Flirting?" Miller asks.

"Stop. There is nothing between us." I say and start walking out of the cafe and Miller is right behind me.

"Really? Then why did he seem jealous when you asked for permission for me to come to your place?" He asks and smirks.

"You are just imagining it. We just have rules about who is allowed to come over and who's not." I say.

"So I am not?" He asks and smiles.

"All boys are forbidden. And Bellamy is not allowed to bring girls over." I say.

"Okay, well if that's the case it sounds fair. It still doesn't explain why Bellamy looked jealous." Miller says and smiles.
