Roommates (Bellarke fanfic)

Chapter 6

Clarke's pov

Miller left and I walked home. I spent the night watching TV and waiting for Bellamy to come home. It has been 3 hours and it's 12 am. Where the hell is he? Then I hear the door open. He walks in.

"Hey what took you so long?" I ask and turn to face him.

"Why are you awake? Go to sleep." Bellamy says and he seems drunk.

"Have you been drinking?" I ask and stand up.

I walk to him.

"Are you okay?" I ask and smile.

"I am fine and yes I have been drinking. It's non of your business by the way. Just worry about your stuff and stay out of my way." Bellamy says.

"I just asked because I was worried about you." I say and look at him.

"Well don't be. Because I couldn't care less about you." He says.

"You don't mean that." I say.

"What do you know about me? We have lived together for a couple of days. Stop acting like we are friends." Bellamy says.

"Why don't you just go to your room and leave me alone....honey." Bellamy says and touches my cheek.

"Don't talk to me again." I yell and slap his hand away.

I run into my room. I thought we could be friends. We can't, he is such an ass. I still can't understand why the girls at school are so obsessed with him.

The next morning I wake up before Bellamy and I go to the kitchen to eat breakfast. I am really not that hungry so I just eat an apple. Then Bellamy's door opens. He walks out and looks like he has a hangover. Good for him.

"Hi did you sleep well?" Bellamy asks.

I don't say anything, after last night I am done. I am tired of him. I am tired of trying to be his friend and he is nice to me only when he feels like it.

I get up and go to my room to get ready. I brush my hair and change out of my pj's. I grab my bag and start heading for the door.

"Hey, can you wait for me?" Bellamy asks. Why is he acting like this?

"No. You can find your way to school on your own." I say and leave. Was I too rude? No, I don't need to take any of his crap. He will act like this one minute and the other tell me how he doesn't care about me. Or how we aren't friends.

I get to school early and I sit next to Finn in class.

"Did you see Bellamy today?" A girl sitting in front of me asks.

"Yes, why did he seem so sad?" Her friend asks.

"I don't know, but I will try and cheer him up." The other says and smiles.

"Ugh, I am so done with this whole school being obsessed with Bellamy." I whisper to Finn.

"Me too." Finn answers.

"Clarke and Finn. Would you like to tell me what is more important than what I am teaching at the moment?" The teacher asks.

"N-no it's nothing." Finn says.

"I was just telling Finn how I don't understand why this whole school is obsessed with Bellamy. He isn't a celebrity, a nice guy or even that good looking. So it just seems strange to me how everyone at this school is treating him like a royalty." I say and after I said that the whole class was silent and just looking at me.

The bell leaves and i take my things and leave. I can hear people talking about me when I leave. I start heading to lunch. I sit with Monty, Jasper, Miller and Finn.

"I heared what you said Clarke. And I must say I am impressed that you said that in front of your whole class." Miller says.

"Well, I just want people to know Bellamy isn't a royalty just an annoying guy." I say and smile.

I feel someone tap my shoulder. I turn around and I see Gina and some other girls.

"You must be Clarke. I am Gina, this is Raven and Harper. We heared about the thing you said in class." Gina says.

"And?" I say and smile.

"You are new here so you don't know what it means when you make the list. You don't talk bad about the boys or girls on the list. But we will let this one time slip. You are new and a little bit slow or so it seems." Gina says and people laugh.

"You think I am slow? I seem to be one of the only sane people in this school. All of you are his little servers. You do everything that he says. Aren't you a little bit old to be doing that ? I though you were smart Gina. But I guess everyone makes mistakes." I say and smile
