the cold breeze sent shivers down his spine as he opened the window on the dark, chilly night. with sadness hugging his heart he looked up at the glistening moon in awe, the shine reflecting on his hazel green eyes making them look more vibrant in the dark, and causing his eyelashes to cast shadows on his cheek, the night does wonders."hello, my love" he whispers softly, his hand draped around the metal fence of the window, somehow he didn't feel trapped, infact he felt free.
"i don't know where you are, or what you're doing." he says after a couple seconds of silence, his eyes fixated on the moon, "i hope you're safe and okay, and i hope you come home soon, because we all want and need you here."
"i love you."
he said last, smiling, then shutting the glass and draping close the curtains. he sighed, a rather sad one, he missed her alot, he spoke to the moon every single night after she disappeared, he hoped she was talking back to him through the moon on the other side. they both were in love with the sky, so he figured -no matter how silly- that it might bring her back, but he knew that it won't, but he hoped.
"or am i a fool, who sits alone, talking to the moon."
