I lean my head against Bucky as we wait for Sharon to arrive with our stuff in the back of a beetle.
"Can you move your seat up?" Bucky asks and I see Sam roll his eyes
"No" he answers and I scoff as Bucky wraps his arm around my shoulders
"Be nice you two" I mumble as I see Sharon's car pull up "ew" I mumble and Bucky chuckles before I sit up and we all stare at them talking
Before we know it they start kissing and when they break apart, Sam, Bucky and I are just nodding at Steve with smirks across our faces.
8:38 AM
"Ok you kids ready to go?" Steve asks as he sits in the car
"17 hours with you guys sure I'll be just fine" I yawn slightly leaning into Buck
"Let's get this show on a roll" Sam says leaning his chair all the way back
"Seat up Wilson or I'll kick your ass" I mumble and he sits up immediately
9:40 am
"Sam do not buy any more drinks!" I laugh from register as I see him with about 20 drinks in hand "I'm telling you we aren't stopping every thirty minutes to let you go to the bathroom"
"I won't need to go every 10 minutes" he rolls his eyes as he pays in cash
"Where did you get foreign cash anyways?" I question as we walk to the car
"Don't question my ways Y/L/N" he smirks as we get back in "alrighty let's get this show on a roll"
11:34 am
"You were the one to let him buy twenty drinks!" Steve yells as we pull into another rest stop for Sam to pee
"It's not my fault i can't use my powers to knock some sense into his dumbass in public!" I shout back as Bucky chuckles wrapping an arm around my shoulders again "shut it fossil I can kick your ass any day" I smirk
"Whatever you say darling, whatever you say"
1:21 pm
"62 bottles of beer on the wall, 62 bottles of beer..."
"If you take another one down and pass it around you're going to have another bottle of beer so far up your...."
"Y/N" Steve says looking through the mirror
"This was your idea Steve, I could've gotten a jet but noooooooooo we had to drive the Flintstones car"
3:47pm
"Steeeeeeevvvveee" I poke him in the cheek as he drives
"Yes y/n?" He laughs
"Can we stop somewhere please?" I question raising an eyebrow
"You're not seriously hungry again?!" He halfway yells
"I'm sorry that as a person with powers my metabolism is through the roof and I'm starvinnnnggg" I groan as Sam chuckles
"Hey you might wanna pull over and get the girl some food, I'd hate to see her hungry and angry"
4:56 pm
"STEVE TURN OFF BUGLE BOY" Sam yells as he fights over the song with both of the boys
"ITS A CLASSIC!" Bucky screams pulling Sam back in his seat
"Famous trumpet man from Chicago go away" I mumble as I grab my phone and plug my headphones in
I close my eyes as my playlist of favorite songs starts to play. Still many hours to go with these jerks.
8:02 pm
I glance to my right and see Bucky fast asleep, up in the front so was Sam but Steve was as awake as ever still driving.
"Hey Steve" I whisper causing him to look in the mirror at me "Do you want me to drive?" I question and he chuckles
"No I'm good go to sleep y/n" he smiles lightly "I have enough energy to get through the night"
"Okie" I mumble closing my eyes and leaning against my side of the car
"Darling?" I hear a soft grumble speak from across the seat and I peak an eye open to see Bucky with his arms extended outwards
I slide over and he wraps me in his arms, his metal arm holding me but almost unnoticed compared to his human one.
1:58 am
I wake up and the car is fully parked, I lift my head up off of Bucky's chest to see Steve fast asleep and that we are in a parking garage. I feel Bucky move slightly and he pulls me back to him.
"We need to sleep" he mumbles as he holds me close to him "where are we?" He asks groggily as I curl back into him
"We are here but it's too early" I yawn as he traces shapes on my back
"I can tell it's dark outside" he chuckles
"If you two don't shut up you'll be sleeping outside of the car" Sam grumbles and rolls over in his side making Bucky and I giggle a little, both of us falling asleep soon after this crazy car ride
