I smiled staring at the diamond ring that sat on my finger. Thinking back to when he proposed.

Flashback

Bucky looked nervous as we walked down the sandy beach. It had taken a lot of begging to get him to say yes to coming to the beach. We stuck out like sore thumbs but I didn't care. Bucky smiled at me but I could still see his nerves. I looked out into the coastline, the sun was setting, the beach was clearing out. I looked down to see a shell. It was beautiful, the way the water washed on it. I bent down to pick it up. I turned excitedly only to notice Bucky was on one knee. I gasped tears built in my eyes my smile widened if that was possible.

"I didn't think I'll ever do this. Alana King, before I met you my life was dark. All I did was follow what others told me to do. The day I met you, you walked up to me and sat in the chair infront of me. It was then that I knew everything would change for me. I had no idea it would be for the better. Would you do me the great honour and become my wife?" I wiped the tears from under my eyes

"Of course. Now get up and kiss me." He smiled standing up, his hands on either side of my face as he kissed me. When he pulled away he slide the ring onto my finger. "I love you so much."

Flashback over

I flatten out the white gown, I had found it at a thrift store. I had added my own embellishments to it. I picked up the necklace and put it on. Putting my earrings on. I smiled happy with my look. A knock sounded on the door. I knew it wasn't Bucky he was at the small chapel, waiting. I opened it to see Steve. I smirked. "Are you Alana?" I nodded

   "Hello Steve." I said

"You said you could tell me where Bucky is." I nodded

"I can, but we have to hurry. Come." I rushed out my door.

"Where are we going?" I smiled looking back at Steve

"My wedding." Steve was confused but I didn't leave no room for him to talk. I hailed the cab. I got in, Steve looked at me "You want to see Bucky right?" he nodded "Then get in." He got in heisantly

   "Where too?"

"St. Judes chapel." he nodded and started the drive, Steve looked around at his surrondings, like he was trying to case what was going on. When we arrived at the small run down chapel. I smiled I payed the driver, getting out quickly. I walked into the chapel. I opened the doors. I met Bucky at the alter. He looked at me, smiling. He turned back to see Steve. His mouth opened. Steve looked at me before smiling. "Let's do this Bucky." I said taking his hand.

"We are gathered here today, to see the marriage of James Buchanan Barnes and Alana Elizabeth King. Today we bask in the glory of this couples love. If anyone in this room does no believe this couple should not be wed, speak now or forever hold your peace." The room was basically empty the only person present was Steve. He shook his head smiling. "Let's get to the good part. Repeat after me, I, James Barnes take Alana King to be your lawfully wedded wife, through sickness and in health. Through richer and poorer."

"I, James Barnes take Alana King to be my lawfully wedded wife, through sickness and in health. Through richer and poorer." Bucky repeated it. I smiled wide

"Alana, repeat after me, I, Alana King take James Barnes to be my lawfully wedded husband, through sickness and in health. Through richer and poorer."

"I, Alana King take James Barnes to be your lawfully wedded husband, through sickness and in health. Through richer and poorer." I repeated

"Do you have the rings?" Bucky pulled 2 rings from his pocket. One had a chain attatched. We had agreed since he didn't have a proper arm that he should where his ring on a chain around his neck.

"Repeat after me. With this ring I symbolise my love and devoution, with this ring I am forever yours."

"With this ring I symbolise my love and devoution, with this ring I am forever yours." Bucky spoke as he slipped the silver band onto my finger right under our engagment ring. The chain sat in my right hand. I spoke as James turned

"With this ring I symbolise my love and devoution, with this ring I am forever yours." I fastened the chain, Bucky turned back to me. I bounced on my heel waiting for the minister to say the words.

"With the power invested in me, I now pronounce you Mr. and Mrs. James Barnes. You may now kiss the bride." Bucky's hands engulfed my cheeks as he kissed me. I heard the clapping of Steve from behind us. We pulled away, Steve smiling as he walked up to us.

   "You called him?" Bucky asked

"I thought you would like to see him on such a special day, Mr. Barnes." Bucky smiled

"Thank you, Mrs. Barnes." He held my hand as Steve and him spoke, I smiled at the excitement in his face.
