° Jeonghan's POV °

"Jeonghan-ssi, are you okay?"

"Han-ah, I thought you're well now?"

"You want to go to the clinic? I'll help you."

"Mr. Yoon, if you're still not feeling well, go home and rest. You'll make your condition worse."

People at the office kept asking me if I am fine. Honestly, yes, I do feel well this morning but I feel nauseous again.

It's our break time right now but I don't have an appetite. Seungcheol asked me to take lunch with him but I refused it. The other employees asked me too but I also refused them.

I know it's bad to skip meals, so I ate at least few biscuits I brought with me.

After our break time, Seungcheol came to my office room with some documents on his hands. Our CEO got something to do for us again. I sighed.

"Jeonghan-ah, the CEO said you need to finish these documents within this day. But since you're not feeling well, I'll help you." My bestfriend said as he put the documents on my desk.

"Thanks. But seriously, I'm fine. You don't have to help me."

"Whatever you say, I'm still going to help you." He crossed his arms on his chest. "And you're obviously not fine, Han-ah." I just sighed.

Then, I felt my phone vibrating inside my pocket. So, I took it and answered it without taking a look of the caller ID.

"Hello?"

"Yeobo..."

It's my wife, Yoon Miyoung.

"Yes, yeobo? You need something?"

"No... I just want to hear your voice and I want to know if you're doing well."

"Don't worry, yeobo. I'm doing well with everything."

"Are you sure? If not, I'll go there and take you home."

"No, yeobo. I'm fine, seriously. Just stay at home with our kids and rest. Don't overwork and stress yourself, okay? It will be bad for our twins."

"Fine. Just call me when you're on the way home."

"Sure. I love you, yeobo."

"I love you too. So much!"

I ended the call and started to help Seungcheol with the documents that needed to be done within this day. This is stressful!

An hour had passed. I suddenly feel nauseous again. I didn't tell Seungcheol and just continue helping him. I felt something rolling down on my face. I wiped it using my hand and it's just my sweat. But I'm freaking sweating inside my room with the AC on.

Seungcheol noticed me, wiping sweats on my face using a handkerchief.

"Jeonghan-ah, it's freaking cold here in your room but you're sweating. Are you sure you're okay?" He asked and I just nodded at him as my response.

Then, I felt my heart started to palpitate. I clutched on my chest and cursed under my breath. I breathe heavily.

Seungcheol looked at me when he heard me cursed. His eyes widened as he saw me clutching on my chest, breathing heavily.

"Hey, w-what's happening to you?!" He asked, panicking.

"I- uhh, c-can you p-please g-"

"Water?" Seungcheol finished my sentence. I nodded, still having a hard time breathing.

He ran to the small-sized refrigerator inside my office as I slowly stood up and decided to follow him.

But, just after a few steps, everything went black.

"YOON JEONGHAN!"

° Seungcheol's POV °

Jeonghan's having a hard time breathing again. He just came back from his work but the palpitation of his heart struck him again.

I ran to his small-sized refrigerator inside his office and looked for the bottled water. As I took it, I heard something heavy fell on the floor. I turned around and saw Jeonghan lying on the floor.

"YOON JEONGHAN!"

For the nth time, he fainted again.

I immediately ran outside and called for a help from the other employees. This is not Jeonghan's first time fainting, so I told one of the employees to call for an ambulance.

While we wait for the ambulance, I sent a message to Miyoung.

Hey Miyoung. Your husband fainted again. We already called an ambulance for him. Here's the address of the hospital, *** *** *** *** ***.

We immediately carried Jeonghan to the ambulance when it arrived.

I quickly went to the parking lot and looked for my car. I hopped in and started the car before I drove off.

When I arrived infront of the emergency room, Miyoung is already there with her brother, Wonwoo.

I approached them and gave Miyoung a comforting hug. I let her cry on my chest.

"He said he's fine. How could he lie to me?" She said between her sobs.

I sighed and told her, "He'll be fine, okay? Don't worry."

"Miyoung-ah, sit down." Wonwoo told his sister.

Then, I helped Miyoung to sit down. I sat beside her while Wonwoo on her other side.

We've contacted Jeonghan's parents already and told what happened but they said they couldn't come on time since they're on a business trip.

After 2 hours of waiting, a doctor came out from the emergency room and looked for Jeonghan's relatives. Miyoung stepped forward and told the doctor that she's the wife.

"Is this his first time fainting?" We shook our heads at the doctor's question.

"Does he feel nauseous often?"

"Yes. Why?" I answered.

"Well, uhm, we found out that he has a problem with his heart."

"W-what? H-how?" Miyoung asked, stuttering.

"The condition of your husband is very serious, but it doesn't mean his heart has stopped beating. It means, his heart has started to weaken and cannot pump enough blood and oxygen to the rest of the body." The doctor explained to us. "For short, it is heart failure."

"W-what's the solution then?" Miyoung asked as a tear fell down on her cheeks.

"Heart transplant. We will wait for someone to give or donate a heart for him but only for a month. We can't extend it. If a month passes and still nothing arrived, his condition will be worsen. In short, he will die." The doctor sighed.

Die.

I felt a pang on my chest when I heard that word.

No, he won't die. He'll fight and will stay alive with his family.

The doctor excused himself before he left. Miyoung's sobs became loud and almost fell on the floor. Thank God his brother caught her before she could hit the floor. She's pregnant and carrying twins. She must be careful.

We just wished for the best.
