"Whatever you say, Kenzie." Bailey laughed.
"Have you little ladies seen my snake?" An old lady asked, startling us.
•Campsite #3•
We all looked at each other in confusion. "A snake? First of all, why would you bring a snake to a hiking trail. And second of all, who are you?" Bailey asked.
The lady's face scrunched up, "How dare you talk to me like that, you better watch your mouth little lady or else I'll....i'll—" Kenzie cut her off, "you'll do what? Kidnap us? Hurt us?"
The lady's jaw clenched, "You don't know who your messing with!" She snapped and stomped off.
"That's was...weird." Kyla said, breaking the silence. Then all of a sudden, we hear voices out from afar. A group of guys walk up to the campsite. Those weren't just random guys, those are our friends. Wyatt, Jake, Jaedan, and Blake all came out.
"Well what a coincidence." I said greeting the group.
"What are you guys doing out here?" Blake asked.
"Hiking..." Alyssa pointed out.
"Hey Kenzie, long time no see!" Jaedan exclaimed as the two exchanged hugs. We all "awed" at them, which made Kenzie flip us off.
"Lets all hike together!" Kyla suggested.
And then it was settled, we packed up our bags and made our way to the next campsite.
•Campsite #13 - 6:25 pm •
After we finished setting up our tents, we started to make a fire. Wyatt and Jake up with lots of large pieces of wood and Alyssa tried to figure out how to use matches.
"I just gotta scrape this against this and——" as she scraped the match against the box and flame ignited, she freaked out and dropped the flame which cause the grass to catch on fire. "FIRE!" Alyssa yelled running to the lake.
"ALYSSA GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE!" I yelled running after her.
"WE NEED WATER!" Bailey cried.
"WHERES THE MARSHMALLOWS?" Kenzie asked.
"HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?" Blake said.
The fire was at least 3 feet long now and Alyssa was running back with a bowl of water. "This should do." She said and threw the water into the grassy fire.
"That should do." Jaedan sighed. "Alyssa is official off of match duty." Bailey declared. I grabbed the matches and started a new flame, then I placed the watch in the fire, igniting huge flames.
"Magic!" I exclaimed, feeling impressed at my work. I turned around to see Kenzie with a bag of marshmallows, 12 twigs, huge chocolate bars, and a box of graham crackers. "Of course, your ready." Bailey rolled her eyes.
After a little s'mores, we played spin the bottle, with a water bottle.
We got in a huge circle and Kenzie spun the bottle. "Please don't land on Jake, god no!" Kenzie pray-whispered. The bottle landed on Kyla. The two girls looked at each other and tried to re-spin. But we refused and took no mercy. Kyla pecked Kenzie on the cheek, I think, and ran back to her spot all sheepish.
"Who's next?" Jake asked as Kyla slid the bottle to him. Jake sighed and spun the bottle which landed on Alyssa. We all smirked as Kenzie pulled out her phone.
"Okay let's just stop this nonsense!" Alyssa cried. "Can i be excluded?" Jake begged. But with the assholes we are, we made Jake and Alyssa kiss.
•Midnight•
Alyssa's P.O.V
As I gazed out at the open mountains, I heard shuffling in the bushes. I'm probably just imagining things. I shrugged it off and stood up to go walk back to the campsite. There was a total of 5 tents around a fire pit with a couple of benches around us, and don't forget that black patch of grass. Then I heard the shuffling noise again. I got annoyed and stood up. "Show your face!" I said while getting into a fighting stance. All of a sudden, a black, yet short, figure pops out of a bush. It was walking weird on its toes and came charging in for me. "Hey there, calm down!" I cried running away from this monster.
Once I got back to the camp, the figure got exposed. "Cory?" I yelled. "Bacci?" Blake cried. I turned around to find a terrified Blake, then I turned back to meet Cory's evil grin. "Hahaha mwhhahaha!" Then he started lap dancing. "Cory twerk!" Kenzie said.
•The Next Morning•
Katheryn's P.O.V
"Rise and shine, brats!" We hear a voice being called out from a megaphone.
I sat up to hear Alyssa snoring a storm, not hearing Kenzie's loud voice booming from outside. I sat up and left her snoozing in the tent. I sat on the bench next to Wyatt while Bailey served the group breakfast. She gave each of us a bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios.
"Where'd the milk come from?" Wyatt asked looking down at the bowl unsure if it's safe or not.
"Since I was smart enough to bring a cooler, I brought milk and orange juice." She said and handed out cups of orange juice. "And I brought all the silver wear!" Kyla chimed in with her mouth full of cereal. "What are we gonna do with the trash?" I asked. "Let's burry it!" Kenzie suggested. "Or throw it away." Jaedan said, smacking Kenzie upside the head. "But there's no trash can." Jake pointed out.
"No, I'm dirty dan!" Cried Alyssa. We all looked at each other. I then stood up and walked over to my tent to find Alyssa sprawled across the floor. "Who you callin pinhead?" She mumbled. I shook my head and dragged her out of the tent. I picked her heavy ass up, well I failed and just dragged her, and brought her down to the stream that was flowing next to our campsite. I dropped her in it and ran off as fast as I can. "I'm gonna be dead soon." I said.
After arguing about the trash, we all agreed to pack it in a bag and carry it with us to the next campsite.
"According to my map, the next campsite is—" Kenzie started. "I have no idea...."
