ALEX'S POV

"We're going to a party tonight!" Angelica yelped to the whole room.

All of us whooped and hollered.

"Who's hosting?" Eliza asked.

"Thomas Jefferson." Angelica replied, heading over to the kitchen.

We all groaned in unison.

"Oh, c'mon you party poopers. Jefferson always hosts the best parties and you know that." Angelica laughed, grabbing 2 packs of beer.

"Yeah but it's Jefferson." Lafayette whined.

Angie rolled her eyes and put the beers in a cooler.

"You're going anyways." She laughed, closing the cooler.

I sighed. Great. A party with Jefferson. Sounds like a lot of fun. What could go wrong? Ha. Ha. Ha.

"What time is this party?" Eliza asked, again.

"We're gonna be late if we don't leave now." Angelica stated, wheeling the cooler to the door.

We all followed Angie, exchanging worried yet curious looks.

~at Jefferson's~

We pulled up to Jefferson's house and all I could hear was blaring 'clipping.' music. I rolled my eyes and we all hopped out of the van. Angie hurried to the back and grabbed the cooler. Herc, being the gentleman he is, grabbed the cooler from Angie and rolled it to the front porch. Eliza knocked on the door and we heard footsteps approaching the door. I expected it to be Jefferson, but of course it was James Madison.

"Ah, so the loser crew came along I see." James laughed, holding a Red Solo Cup in his hand.

"Get over yourself." Peggy groaned, pushing Madison and stepping inside.

Herc whooped from the back, giving Peggy encouragement. I smirked. As I entered the home, I saw Charles Lee, James Reynolds, Aaron Burr, Theodosia, Maria Reynolds and Jefferson all huddled together in the living room. Jefferson turned to me.

"The loser crew!" The whole gang chirped in unison.

"C'mon," Peggy yelled. "You invited us, dipshit!"

Jefferson lifted his Red Solo Cup and nodded.

"That I did." Jefferson agreed.

Peggy rolled her eyes. "Where are the drinks?" She mumbled, the rest of us nodding in agreement.

"In the kitchen." Theodosia sneered in her thick New Jersey accent.

We all nodded and made way for the kitchen.

"Hey Hammy!" Jefferson yelled from behind me.

I could tell his voice from anywhere. I turned around to see him with a huge smirk on his face.

"Come upstairs with me." He stated, getting up from the couch.

Theodosia and Maria snickered. This wasn't a good idea, and I already knew it.

"I don't think that's the best idea now, Jefferson." I sneered.

"Ah, c'mon you coward. Go with the man." James Reynolds snarled.

I turned to the crew and they all were in line for drinks, talking amongst themselves. Welp, no one to back me up now.

"Fine, whatever," I groaned. "But not for long,"
