CHAPTER 2 ~ Contagious

ANGELICA'S POV

I gasped.

"ELIZA!" I cried, tears streaming down my face.

We all started freaking out, and Herc ran to the side of the house underneath the dangling Eliza. Eliza was hanging to the side of the roof by one hand.

"ELIZA, TRUST ME! JUST FALL! I HAVE YOU!" Hercules yelled.

"NO, I'M NOT FALLING!" Eliza yelled back.

My heart started racing.

"ELIZA, JUST FALL!" I yelled.

Eliza looked down and let out a loud scream.

"What have you done?" Alex cried to Jefferson.

Jefferson just smirked and kept his eyes locked on the terrified Eliza. Eliza's grip loosened and she fell straight on to Herc. Eliza let out a loud gasp in relief. Then she turned to Hercules with a big, menacing smile.

"You... okay?" Hercules asked, grabbing her shoulders softly.

"Truth or dare." She laughed.

I quickly turned to Alex. His eyes were wide with fear. Alex looked at Jefferson. Jefferson laughed at Alex.

"Um... truth?" Hercules replied.

"Do you still love Angelica?" Eliza laughed.

Hercules got up and pushed Eliza away. He shook his head and started to walk inside. To be honest, I wanted him to say yes. Even though I still had feelings for Hercules, I still put a 'are you serious' look on my face.

"ANSWER OR YOU DIE!" Eliza screamed.

Hercules and all of us jumped.

"Don't do it." Alex croaked.

"Do it." Jefferson laughed.

Herc looked at me with regret. I shrugged my shoulders.

"Yes." Hercules whispered.

W-what? I mean, it's great... but...

"RUN, FUCKING RUN!" Alex yelled.

Eliza finally fell out of her daze and started crying. I ran over to her and hugged her close. Peggy ran over as well.

"I-I don't-" Eliza started.

"Shh, it's okay." I replied.

Hercules started to approach us.

"RUN! RUN!" Alex yelled, running off the lawn.

I picked up Eliza and grabbed Peggy's hand. We ran for our lives.

LAFAYETTE'S POV

We were running and running until we got to a near bakery. The crew and gang eventually came.

"Where's the Schuyler's?" John asked.

I shrugged then heard screams. All of our eyes went wide. The Schuyler's came in screaming and crying.

"RUN, HE'S BEHIND US!" Peggy screamed.

I fell over the counter and glass broke everywhere.

"LAF!" Eliza cried.

Angelica, John, Burr and Peggy were yelling things I couldn't understand. Someone toppled over a table and I realized Maria had pushed James Reynolds into Hercules.

"TAKE HIM!" Maria yelled and ran.

There was more screaming and glass breaking that I couldn't comprehend. I looked out of the corner of my eye to see James R punch Herc across the face and ran. Everyone's yells and screams began to get more distant. I heard footsteps approaching.
