Newts POV
I walk off, Following behind Cassie. She makes her way to the wall and slides down against a tree. She pulls out a knife and drags it across her skin. I race over there to stop her. I didn't know what I was thinking, I just knew that I had to stop her.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?!?" I say.
Looking up I see Cassie turn to me with a look of shock plastered on her face. I take a few steps closer. an instant later she jumped up, ready to bolt.
"Look, don't run. I'm sorry for following you, but you shouldn't do this to yourself" I say walking over to her, and when I get closer she takes her blade and stabs me in the leg. I stumble and end up falling onto her. She squrims out from under me and runs off to the darkness of the maze. I get up and run to her but by the time I get to the doors she is already gone.
