Chapter 27

Kelyn's POV
I skimmed the letter. I then quickly crumbled it and threw it in he trash.

I looked at myself in the mirror and took a deep glance. "Holy fuck Neshawn." I mumbled.

I ran my fingers through my hair, I know I'm not going to be able to keep it in for long. Neshawn should know that.

I slowly headed back to my bed and turned the light off. Slowly reminiscing...

The Next Morning
I was woken up by the light entering through blinds. I felt half asleep, I could hardly see.

I faced towards the door and saw a blurry figure leaning on my door.

I squinted my eyes and rubbed them.

The figure knocked twice on the side casing of the door.

I slightly jumped intimidated for a second or two. I was clearly able to see now, Lil Skies was there.

I quickly grabbed my covers and covered myself knowing I had on some comfortable shorts and a small tank top to sleep.

"What are you doing up so early in the morning ?" He Asks with a smirk.

"I could ask you the same thing although mine would be more reasonable onto why you're in my room" I said with a tilted Smile.

He chuckles, and looks down still holding a smile. "What's so funny ?" I question with a confused face expression.

"Nothing, you should get going.The day just started yet there's so much to do. It's only the beginning" he says walking away.

"Wait! What do you mean ?!!" I yell but he doesn't hear. I exhale and rest my head on the side of my thumb and index finger.

Kathryn's POV

8:29 am, I brushed down my frizzy poofy looking hair.
I grabbed a pink silky robe and wrapped it around myself and finally tied it with a very thin and silk lace it came with.

Finally I slipped on some slippers and walked downstairs.
A moment later, I arrived to the kitchen where breakfast was supposedly taking place. I spotted Mallory,Lil Skies,Landon, the twins and Keith down at the table.

I smiled in regard of my sweet conversation with Keith the night before. I slowly walk up to the kitchen counter and lean on it with my arms crossed.

I raise an eyebrow and smile with a confused face expression. "You cook?" I asked Keith glancing at his skills.

"Of course I do, what kind of men would I be if I didn't know how to cook" he said in a morning raspy voice.

I chuckled and faced back to the big table where the others were eating.
Keith later handed me what he had cooked for breakfast. "Where's Kelyn ?" Mallory asks with her mouth full.

"Mallory we've talked about this, don't talk with your mouth full" I whisper yell to her as my eyes widened.

She gives me a narrow, closed eyes, and a straight mouth face.

"I thought she was with you" Ethan states. "How is she gonna be with— man you know what... I'm not even going to answer that" I say with a neutral face.

"She should be down soon I went to go see her earlier" Skies says as he stuffs his mouth.

Ethan puts his drink down, "why'd you go see her?" He says picking his drink back up.
"Just to check up" he replies and Ethan almost chocked on his drink.

"You don't need to, that's what I'm here for" Ethan responds.

"She ain't claiming tho" lil skies says looking down with a smile as he plays with his food.
Ethan gave him a look.
