After 3 days travel we were in irland, Killian said we would stay there a week, collect provisions and hopefully find a midwife willing to help deliver the Bastard child of a female pirate, by now Hook had informed the crew of my condition and most became protective, a few men were uncomfortable with the situation and tried to fight Killians decision to let me stay but, the majority ruled that I was a part of the crew now, and that I would be staying.

We had been there just 2 days when I met her Aristae or Ri for short, she has delivered many children in the past and though she's not a trained midwife she's the only person willing to help.

"You need to drink more liquids (Y/N) and no more sword fighting for you, were it up to me you'd be off this ship and somewhere safe in a nice house, but since you insist on staying, looks like I'm coming too" she's a loving woman but very stern, I won't fight her on any of it but I can see us being good friends, I chuckle taking some goats milk she has brought for me "thank you for doing this Ri, I was starting to worry about the safety of this child" she smiled getting herself settled into her quarters "happy to do it, I love babies" she beams "it's been a while since I was last on a ship" on her hip is a silver long sword, something she's very skilled with, she too lived on a ship amongst men but the ship was hers, she was captain.

A few hours later we were on deck, I sat by hook, all the men besides Killian and Fin have gone to the tavern, usually Fin would be the first to go but it didn't take a genius to see why he had stayed. The way he looked at Ri was all too obvious, he beamed whenever her name was mentioned and I hadn't heard him complain once about her joining us, she's feisty and he likes it! Killian and I chuckle watching them fighting over the whisky she has brought along.

"Bed time for me" I chuckle hinting at Killian to join me in our cabin "goodnight" Shouts Ri as we walk away, Fin is too awestruck to notice.
