Here I am in Hell. Of course I've been to Hell before but this is for a different reason. I've committed a crime; murder. Now, if you've stuck with me through my adventures, you'd know that I've done murder. A lot. I'm a pirate, or was, so what should ya expect, eh? This time however, I killed not a rival pirate, but someone who's worked with me. I've "dealt" with Holly in the darkest hour of the night (for reasons I won't tell so shut up!) and Dane felt obliged to tell on me. The kingdom I happened to have committed the murder in makes it punishable by cruise-ship-adventure-to-Hell's-prison.
Now, after seven years in this hot, red, dark hole in the center of earth, I'm breaking out of prison. I knocked out a guard with my pseudo-slingshot. He fell close enough for me to reach through the iron bars and take the keys from his belt. I unlocked the door and it swung open with a long creak. I moved out slowly and quietly. Everyone was asleep -or pretending to be- so now I needed to find my cutlasses. I moved silently but swiftly down the hallways and into the warehouse, and there they were; Sharktooth and Sabre. Yes, I named them.
I walked down the hallways holding my cutlasses but still upset that I couldn't find my clothes so I had to stick with the black and white striped prison uniform.
Just as I was turning the corner, I hear someone yell "there she is!" I spun around and saw two guards running after me. Ughhhhh, not today man! I gripped on harder to my cutlasses as the two pulled out their hand guns. I casually moved forward when they halted and pointed their guns at me. I quickly moved my cutlasses, barely deflecting the bullets from my head and chest. Seven years without any use of my cutlasses and just deflected five projectiles. Not too shabby.
The two guards pulled out their swords from their backs and charged at me. I prepared my cutlasses in a cross in front of my face. I swung my arms out to block the guard's blades from slicing my sides. I sliced one stomach as I turned around and faced the other guard, stabbing him in the neck. I pulled my blade out of neck just in time to turn around and impale the first guard in the eye, making him scream in agony. I hurried away from the two groaning but mostly still bodies.
Almost out the door and I hear footsteps and yelling from a bunch of guards right behind me. Seriously? Yeah, so I'm just gonna skip this part and say that I left a bloody mess and the proprietor would need to hire replacement guards.
The underworld was just as I've remembered it. Dark, hot, rocky, the red glow from lava or heat seeping through the black rocks. I have wandered out of the prison and into a marketplace. I have to blend in with the crowd or stay out of it because until i find something different, I'm stuck with this prison uniform.
Somehow, I was chased up a tall castle wall by some heavily armored soldiers and their equally armored hounds. Eventually they gave up so they turned and walked away. I continued up the wall and entered through a lit window. I stepped in the glamorous bedroom and was spotted by an also glamourous woman. She screamed and i panicked and threw my cutlass at her. The blade went into her stomach making her grunt, clutch her stomach, and fall. I tapped her still body with my foot to make sure she was really lifeless the I decided, why not take the opportunity? We exchanged costumes and I ended up with her fancy dress but simple dark brown dress, while she wore my black and white jumper. I explored the room for a moment till I stumbled upon a note left on a dresser that indicated the lady I just killed was the princess of the castle. I picked up the tiara on the dresser and placed it upon my head. I looked at the mirror and hoped, even though we look nothing alike, that I would pass as the princess.
I walked out the room, through hallways and down stairs nonchalantly. I walked back to the marketplace, still unnoticed but I still need something else to stay anonymous. Just then, I saw a stand with masks set up on display. I walked over to it and pointed to the gold and black masked on the wall, "I would like that one please."
