Fight for the Underworld

Round Two

We fought the angels who were attacking us while we climbed up the mountain. The soldiers from the Underworld caught up to us. I saw the general and Bri wave at me from a distance after cutting one of the soldier's face. We reached the top of the mountain where Radja was waiting for us with the chaos of the two armies down below us.

"Captain," Radja stood up from his throne holding either sword in each hand. "Black Rose Pirates. So you've returned with an army, aye?" he sneered, "Remember when we were just a small band of pirates and we defeated a whole empire? Look at you, so pathetic!"

"Shut up!" Simon yelled and charged towards Radja with his chainsaw going. Radja subtly swung his black sword and a giant black dragon rose up from the distance making Simon skid to a halt. The giant Dragon dived down at us but crashed into a force field formed by Gabby. Jazz attacked the beast with huge purple balls of f energy while Taylor shot at it with her bullets but the dragon only barely flinched when they hit his black scales. Algerita ran and yelled at Radja, "How can you do this to us? After I've risked my life to save you!"

Radja replied as he blocked her spear with both his katanas, "I'm aware of your sacrifices and it doesn't have to be like this." He lowers his blades," Join me. We can be friends again, we can be a team and rid the world of the people of the Underworld."

"No," she replies with a stronger grip on her spear, "What you are doing is wrong."

"I see," Radja says somberly, "You are all too stubborn and stupid." He waves his white blade, "and therefore you are my enemies." Then suddenly a white dragon zips past Algerita and right towards me. It swoops up into the sky, avoiding the shield formed by Gabby and Jazz right in front of us. It dove down and Natalie got a chance to graze the dragon right in it's blue eyes, causing it to let out a blood-curdling screech as it diverts course towards me. I panicked and ran backwards, then flailed my arms and the dragon's second eye received a lot of cuts from my daggers till it screeched and flew up.

Both dragons flew down and were circling around us. "We're surrounded," Taylor said with a shot to the black dragon's eye."

"Nope," Maryssa said knocking out an angel soldier with her hammer, "Now we're surrounded." We looked around and we were surrounded by angel soldiers and those two dragons. Cheyanne spread out her wings, "I can take care of some of them," and she flew away.

"I have an idea," Jazz said, "The only way to stop those dragons, is to stop Radja himself."

"Devin, Gabby, and I will go after him!" I announced.

Taylor shot down two angels with her guns, "Alright. The rest of us will take care of things here."

So Gabby, Devin, and I ran and fought through the army that were attacking us till we reached Radja. "You're still alive?" Radja stood with two swords in each hand.

"Of course we are," Devin growled, "Can't say the same for you though!" He said as he charges at him with his axe in his hands. Radja lifted up his black blade. Then suddenly Gabby yelled, "Devin! Behind you!" The black dragon rocketed past us and towards Devin. He turned just in time to swing his axe down into the dragon's snout leaving a mark and making the dragon flinch and fly away.

"What!?" Radja yelled in anger. "My dragons are invincible, how did you leave a mark?" Devin only shrugged at him.

"It's because he's the ultimate werewolf!" Gabby spoke out.

"Yeah," I added, "And we will take you down together."

"Oh yeah?" Radja said with a swing of his black katana. Suddenly, the black dragon dove down from the sky, snout first, right at me. Gabby jumped in just in time to block it with a force field. "Devin, get him!" Gabby yelled.

"Okay!" Devin yelled with his axe ready to swing. But he ran right into the mouth of the white dragon.

I screamed, "Devin, No!" But it was too late. The white dragon clamped down its jaws and Devin was trapped inside it.

"Ha," chuckled Radja, "Give up now?"

"No!" I yelled charging towards him. He swung his black Katana down summoning his black dragon. I didn't slow down. I felt a surge of energy flow from my heart, down my arms and into the blades of my obsidian daggers. I thrusted through the scales of the dragon's face. Then there was a blinding flash of light and next thing I knew, I was looking at Radja's shocked face.

"H-how..." he muttered. I turned to see Gabby surprised too. Then I noticed, the dragon's head was missing from the rest of his body. Holy cow...I didn't know I could do that. "No matter," said Radja after he broke from his shock, "there's an easy fix to this." His katanas glowed bright as he fused them together as did the dragons. The two dragons became one with black and white spiraling down its body, and a white head.

Gabby looked up at it, "uh oh." The dragon flew high up into the air. Just as it was diving down at us, something exploded out of it's stomach and landed feet away from us. The fuzzy object stood up and turned to us with its red glowing eyes on its horned canine face. It was Devin. He ran towards us and head butted the diving dragon away from us with a powerful thud, and the dragon fell. Devin stood next to us, "that was nasty," he growled.

I was about to go for a hug when Gabby yelled, "Stop! Ew, he was just inside a stomach!"

"Eugh, that's true," I cringed.

"Shut up and let me hug my girlfriend!" he said with a grunt as he forced me into a furry and slimy tight hug.

"Don't celebrate just yet," shouted Radja, "My dragon is still alive." He raised his katana and the dragon raised up too. "And your friends are still in trouble!"

Gabby said to me, "Rabia, you get rid of Radja, and we'll deal with the dragon." I gave a nod and charged at Radja. The dragon got in my way but I jump on top of it and rolled off to the other side just as Gabby blasted it with a big, bright beam. I got to Radja and ducked under his swing. I swung my dagger at his face but he parried it and jumped away. He then launched himself and his blade at me but I ducked and rolled under him and stood up behind him. I moved quick enough to stab him in the back with one of my daggers, making him let out a loud and angry scream. He turned and swung at me, barely missing my "bandaged" eye as I back flipped backwards feet away from him. I flung my dagger at him and got him right at the side of his neck. He screamed and fell to his knees. Then to his side.

I assumed it was safe now so I walked over to him. "Hey," I said when I crouched down next to him.

Radja was facing away from me in a fetal position and i could see blood flowing out from where my dagger was still stuck. "It would seem that you've won, Captain," he spoke through the sounds of him choking. "I-I thought that you'd understand and...and...help me make this a better place."

"It's you who needs to understand, Radja," I spoke softly, compared to everything else that had happened today. "You needed to understand that not everyone from the underworld wants to harm everyone else. It's not just demons in there."

He turned to face me and gave a pain-filled smile, "Huh, it only took getting stabbed in the neck to talk some sense into me." I gave him a little chuckle. "I wish I could make things better again, take it all back."

"The crew and I can do it on your behalf."

"No, no," he spoke softly through coughs, "after all I've done to..."

I interrupted him, "Hey, I'll take your apology as a wish to join the crew again." I gave him a smile and extended my hand. "Welcome to the Black Rose Pirates."

"Thank you," he said as he slowly raises his hand and grips mine. I raised my gaze to see Devin in his Ultimate werewolf form gouging at the dragon, then hop off next to Gabby, who stomped her staff against the ground letting out a surge of energy that sent a gush of wind towards us and disintegrated the dragon. Then I looked down to see Radja's grip loosen, and his eyes closed, and his breathing stopped.

I pulled my dagger out of his neck then stood up and wiped his blood off with the piece of cloth that was wrapped around my waist. I ran to Devin and Gabby and exchanged hugs then we ran to the rest of the crew. Cheyenne announced to the soldiers that the war was over since Radja was dead, and we sailed away that night.
