So now we are on our way to this Mount Olympus to meet up with our old friend, Radja. He's a pretty forgettable guy, no wonder I didn't really remember him a few days ago. He was the most recent member in our crew, then like six months later I was taken away two years ago. Whatever went through his mind those two years to suddenly want to do something so drastic? As far as I can remember, Radja was a pretty calm, quiet, and nice guy. Wouldn't hurt a roach, no matter how much I yelled at him to do so.
Anywho, we were on our way in our big ol' volcanic rock ship when all of a sudden, outside the kitchen I hear Algerita's voice yell, "Pirates!" I dropped my sandwich on the table and quickly got up, second guessed myself and took a big bite then dropped it again, then second guessed myself again, took another big bite, placed the sandwich in the fridge, then stormed out the kitchen and into the deck with my daggers. I glanced up and could see Algerita up on the lookout. She slid down using a rope from the mast of the ship and joined the rest of our crew and intruding crew down on the deck.
It was disorienting with the all the people yelling and shouting and clashing of metal, pops of hammer and pistols, and the mechanical whirring of a chainsaw. Suddenly I was attacked by a big man with a big beard, missing yellow teeth, and a big coat. I blocked his big cutlass with my little black daggers. I was basically on the defensive here. He swung down, I blocked. He swung left, I blocked. He swung right, I blocked. With every impact, I felt half his hefty body weight push against the blades of my daggers that I had to take a step back each time. That and his stinky breath was getting too close to my face.
Then suddenly, I decided to dodge instead of block his swing. I was startled when the ship rocked up and threw me off balance but I was still on my feet. He gave me a half toothy grin and raised his cutlass up about to swing at me. Suddenly something from the sky dropped at such a high speed that its impact with the bow of the ship set it up and the big pirate lost his balance and fell with a heavy thud. Then the object zipped towards us, picked up and threw the huge guy up, and sliced him up with, when she landed with a thud, was a scythe.
She brushed her black and dark pink, wavy hair away from her face while the white wings on her back folded up and disintegrated into little pixels and faded away. "I am the angelic messenger, Cheyenne," she finally spoke. "Angelic" she says. She looks more like a gypsy than an angel. With all those layers of different shades of purple and black skirts topped with a dark pink buttoned up, tank top. She also had blue lips with a big hooped nose ring and way too many piercings on her ears.
After realizing that their captain had been sliced like winter solstice ham, the intruding pirates retreated back to their ship, along with Marysa, Devin, Simon, and Jazz following right after to loot off them. "Wait," said Gabby as she approached Cheyenne and her scythe, "You said, you're a messenger, right?"
"Oh yes," the pseudo-angel replied, "I have news from the Heavens that I believe you'd like to hear."
So we sat at the desk in my room to talk. Cheyenne's news was exactly what we expected. Radja was planning something against the Underworld. Somehow, Radja gained power in Mount Olympus with his katanas of Yin and Yang. He climbed up the ladder of power until he was too powerful for Zeus and now has the divine army under his command. One does not simply become too powerful for Zeus.
"Wow," sighed Taylor. Wow indeed. This is Radja we just heard about. Sweet, little, innocent Radja, now ruler of Mount Olympus. Cheyanne couldn't tell us his motives so we have to go check on him ourselves. She did however, agree to guide us to Mount Olympus.
Before we could go to Mount Olympus, we decided to crash at Cheyenne's place. On land, she had a decent sized cottage where we all slept in the living room. In her room, Gabby, Natalie, and I were looking at a crystal ball held up by Cheyanne. She swirled her hand around the ball like bum fortune teller in hopes of understanding Radja. So I was right, she is a gypsy! As she did, I could hear Gabby scoff and mumble, "I can tell fortunes too."
