IMPORTANT UPDATE AT END OF CHAPTER!! PLEASE READ!!

We finally parked after Brennen speed-demoning it through LA traffic. As we pulled into the parking lot, I got a quick glimpse of the sign. I hopped out of the truck and looked at the building. The sign on the front of the big building said Tempest Freerunning Academy.

'Uh oh, this sounds like exercise...' I thought to myself. I turned to Brennen with a raised eyebrow. He faced me with a grin and laughed at my confused expression.

"Well, I hope you're prepared to sweat!" He chimed and started skipping towards the door like a little kid. I rolled my eyes and laughed along with him while following.

When we walked into the building, we were greeted by a couple familiar faces. Elton, Sam, Colby and Corey were there along with one of the employees that I learned was named Corbin. They had done a couple videos here before with Corbin.

Corbin showed me where everything was and he did a couple tricks. Elton then said that we have the whole place to ourselves until 5pm and it was half an hour past 12.

Corbin then left us to do whatever our hearts desired and Elton set up his camera to film the intro for his TFIL video. Everyone got into a line but I stood off to the side. Elton turned to speak to me.

"Do you want to be in the video (Y/N)?" He asked, about to press the record button. I paused and looked at Jake and Brennen. They both had smiles on their faces and were nodding.

"Yeah, you totally should!" Sam and Colby chimed in.

"It'd be fun (Y/N)!" Corey said. I looked at all of them and debated back and forth with my brain. My anxiety was telling me not to but hey, fuck it. This is a video for Elton and TFIL doesn't stand for 'The Fuck It List' for no reason.

I shrugged my shoulders in an 'Ehh why not!?' way and walked over to Brennen and Jake and stood in the spot between them that they made for me.

Elton, Corey, Sam and Colby smiled and did little victory fist pumps and Elton began recording.

"What's up you guys! I am back today at Tempest with a couple of old friends and a new one as you can see. I'm joined by Corey, Sam, Colby, Brennen, Jake and their friend (Y/N). She's new to being on camera in videos and stuff so please, be nice!" Elton screamed the intro and nearly scared the shit out of me. I waved a little to the camera when he said my name.

Elton then finished the intro and we got to playing around. It was so much fun and the boys were being even more stupid than usual. Sam and Colby got into a play fight and we're throwing foam blocks at one another. One of them hit me and I went tumbling into the block pit, bringing Jake down with me.

We both landed and burst into laughter. Elton and Brennen had their cameras pointed at us as they were laughing as well. Jake climbed out and offered a hand to pull me out.

"Thanks Jake," I laughed. Brennen then walked away to the trampoline where Colby and Corey were messing around. I watched him walk away and once he was out of earshot, I quickly turned back to Jake. "Hey Jake, I have an idea!" I whispered.

"What?" Jake questioned.

"I want to prank Brennen!" I grinned. Jake smiled at my words and nodded vigorously.

"What are you gonna do?"

"When he's not paying attention to me I'm gonna scare him from behind," I replied. Jake agreed my idea and said to signal him when to start filming.

We were still at Tempest and Brennen, Sam, Colby and I were up on a platform that dropped down onto some stairs. Corbin was showing us how to jump from the lower platform to the one we were on now. Brennen and Colby we're closer to the edge and me and Sam we're behind them against the railing. Jake and Elton were on the lower platform next to Corbin, filming us.
