You hadn't seen Jisung at school for a while now, and you were worried. He hadn't text you back for nearly three weeks so you weren't sure if he was okay. You sighed during break as you looked down at your phone, dismayed, when LeeNa slammed her hand on your desk. "Hello, loser. Guess your knight in shining armour isn't here today either. Who's gonna save your sorry ass today, hm?" She sneered, grabbing my face roughly. I grit my teeth, knowing what was coming next as she drew her hand back. I squeezed my eyes shut, ready for the impact that never came. "Aren't you bored of this after two years?" Someone asked. I opened my eyes that widened when they saw Jisung, and I let out a breath of relief to see he was okay. "Get off me! Just because you're an idol doesn't mean you can do whatever you want anymore! Your little slag friend can't date you, so what's the point in hanging with her anymore?!" She shouted, yanking her hand away as I looked down. "Just because I'm an idol doesn't mean I'm suddenly going to start being nicer to sluts like you. Keep your nasty hands off Selene." He warned, grabbing my hand lightly and pulling me out of class to the roof.

"Why do you still let her do that? Aren't you tired of it? You can hit her back, you do taekwondo!" He nagged, pacing back and forth, running his hands through his freshly bleached and dyed blonde hair. I stayed quiet, nibbling on my bottom lip habitually. "Selene? Are you even listening to me!?" He asked exasperated, grabbing my shoulders. "You don't get to lecture me when you haven't even been here, Jisung!" I yelled, pushing his hands off my shoulders roughly. "You haven't responded to any of my texts! I understand you're busy and tired but at least let me know how you are!" I vented, my chest heaving with the effort of not crying. "I missed you, and you couldn't even send one measly text!" I sobbed, covering my face with my hands. "I know, I'm sorry. Our breaks are short and manager-nim keeps our phones during the day, so by the time we get back to our dorms we're too tired to use them.. I'm sorry, Sel, I really am." He sighed, pulling me to his chest as he hugged me. I sniffed and wiped my eyes, pulling away, taking deep breaths to calm down fully. "I forgive you - if you eat with me." I said, pouting angrily. He laughed and nodded, ruffling my hair lightly. "Of course." He grinned, pushing me down the stairs as the bell went.

I got my lunch and headed to the roof, seeing Jisung already there. "So, you're an idol now? When were you gonna tell me?" I asked, sitting next to him. "Today, actually. I was going to take you to my dorms after school so we could celebrate, but hyungs let me know that manager-nim will be there so I can't." He said, looking down. "It's fine, don't worry Sungie. There'll be plenty of time to celebrate." I smiled, offering him one of my sashimi. He grinned and ate it, offering me a bite of his prawn sandwich which I denied. "You'll need it, you're going to practice after school, right?" I asked him. "Not today. Manager-nim gave us the week off for school now that we've finished promotions for Chewing Gum. I have a lot to catch up on." He moaned, finishing his sandwich. "Don't worry, you can use my notes - and I did the homeworks for you, don't worry about them." I grinned, him grinning back. "You really are the best, Sel~" He laughed. The bell went, and we picked up our rubbish, throwing it away and going to class.

"Don't you want to see your parents?" I asked as we walked to my house. "Nah, I saw them when I came back last night." He replied, stuffing his hands in his pocket. "Sungie, are you serious? You haven't been home in weeks and you only went back last night?" I asked, shocked. "Heeeyyyyyyyyyy~ I'm going back this week as well, don't fret over them! You should be more concerned about yourself - you haven't seen me in forever!" He joked, earning a punch from me. "You're so full of yourself, honestly." I laughed, turning into my block of flats. "Well, I used to be a shy nerd so I have to raise my confidence somehow, right?" He retorted, slinging his arm around my shoulders. "Don't you receive compliments everywhere you go now? I had no time to talk to you during school, all the girls were onto you!" I pouted, clicking my floor as the lift doors closed. "Well yeah, but they're meaningless if they're not from a true fan or friend - like you?" He suggested cockily. "Oh hush, you big oaf." I chuckled, leaving the lift and heading towards my door. "Hey! Just because I grew taller again!" He whined, poking my sides to tickle me. "Ah! Stop, Jisung! You're like a tree now!" I laughed, swatting his hands away to unlock my door, entering and taking my shoes off.

"Wow, it hasn't changed." He sighed happily, flopping into my sofa. "Hey! Feet off, Sungie!" I nagged, pushing his feet off as I walked to my room with mine and his bags. "You got that macaroni packet thing?" He called from the kitchen, me replying with a yes. "Put water in the kettle for me, I want coffee!" I called back, getting changed. I put my blazer and trousers back into my wardrobe, putting my blouse in the washing basket. Taking out one of Jisung's old t-shirts and my jogging bottoms I changed, next taking out another one of his t-shirts and his jogging bottoms, walking out to the living room and leaving them on the coffee table. I walked into the kitchen, the kettle still not boiled and watched as he put a teaspoon of coffee and two teaspoons of sugar into a mug for me. "Thank you~ And there's a change of clothes on the coffee table for you if you want." I told him, watching as he carefully poured hot water into my mug. "Mm, thanks." He said, putting the kettle back on it's stand. I got the milk out of the fridge, pouring some into my coffee and handing the bottle to him to pour some in a jug, putting that in the microwave. I took my mug to the living room, putting it on the coffee table as I picked up the tv remote. "What're we watching?" He asked as he walked in, sitting next to me. "Arrow, I still haven't finished it." I said, giggling. "How far did you get from last time?" He asked, his eyebrow raised. "Three episodes.. it's not the same without you here!" I protested as he looked at me funnily. "Of course, you need me to hug when you get scared, right?" He said cockily, earning another punch from me. "You wish, you wuss." I laughed, shaking my head when he walked back to the kitchen to finish his macaroni. "What do you even like about those?" I asked, staring at his bowl in disgust. "I dunno - the cheesiness?" He grinned proudly as I groaned and looked away, laughing.

"Jisung? Jisung!" I shouted, shaking him to wake him up. He groaned sleepily and opened his eyes, looking at me so adorably. "Mm?" He asked. "It's 8pm, you need to go home." I said gently, helping him sit up. "Can I stay here?" He asked, blinking sleepily. "Sungie you literally told me you'd go home to your parents all week." I giggled. "But I'm tired~ please?" He asked. I sighed and stood up, getting my phone as I text his parents for him. "Want my bed?" I asked, getting blankets out of the cupboard. "Yeah. But you too." He said casually, walking to my room as I stared at him weirdly. "What do you mean me too. I'm not sleeping with you, you're like a radiator." I rebutted, giving him a disgusted look. "Then we won't need covers, will we? Just get in bed, I'm tired." He moaned, flopping onto my bed and wriggling about until he was under the covers. I shook my head and joined him, facing the wall. "Are you embarrassed?" He asked, the smirk audible in his voice. "Why would I be embarrassed of little old you?" I asked matter-of-factly. "Because you're not looking at me, Sellie~" He sang. I abruptly turned around, facing him, grabbing his cheeks roughly. "Am I Sellie? Should I scold you in Spanish?" I said jokingly. "Spanish is hot." He grinned, earning a light smack from me. "I'm not speaking Spanish to satisfy you, you numbskull." I sighed, settling down and closing my eyes.

I opened them again in less than a minute, feeling Jisung staring at me. "I know I'm ugly, you can stop staring." I whispered, annoyed. "You're not ugly.. you're gorgeous." He whispered back, bringing his hand up to stroke my face gently. "You really are weird. What's gotten into you?" I asked, swatting his hand away playfully. "I guess... I just realised how much I really need you.." He said regretfully. "What do you mean? I'm always here, you even have a spare key." I asked, confused. "Not just that. I really like you, and I really missed having you to support me and make jokes while I was working.." He whispered sadly. "Sungie, are you being serious? How stupid can you be?" I asked, laughing loudly. He looked confused, sitting up. "I know you like me, we were dating until you started your training you idiot. Nothing's changed just because we broke up. You can call me, text me, ask me to come to you and I can come with food or support. I'm still here for you, even if I have to be your number one fan." I said after I calmed down. He took a deep breath in and smiled gratefully, pulling me in for a hug. "I hate not being able to kiss you and call you mine." He whined, pouting. "If you want to, then the pillow is right behind you." I joked, hugging him back. "But I want you, not a pillow." He pretended to be hurt, making me grin. "Just one. Then go to sleep, it's 11pm and we need to get up for school still." I sighed. He didn't hesitate to pull my head up to kiss me gently, more than once. "Jisung..." I moaned, pulling away. Slightly breathless I distanced myself more, looking as his perfect face. "Sleep, sweetheart." I whispered, having to push him to lie down. He sighed loudly, turning around to hug me from the side. I chuckled quietly and turned over so I was cuddled into him and we both drifted off to sleep.
