ASTRO - JinJin

Everyone was asleep but me. All I could think about was the argument I had with Sora, my girlfriend. Yes, idols aren't ideally meant to have girlfriends, but CEO-nim accepted it because she came from a rich background. I didn't care about her money - I cared about her. She hated being recognised by her name and not herself. The argument we had was the biggest one yet, and I'm petrified she'll end things. I sighed loudly and grabbed my phone, putting my slippers on and walking out to the balcony, shutting the door so no one could hear me.

You: Sora? Are you awake?

Sora: Yes... can I call you?

You: I was going to, yeah

I picked up before the phone could ring, bringing it to my ear desperately.

You: "Sora, I'm so sorry, I was wrong to-"

Sora: "It's my fault. I got angry over something so stupid. I'm sorry, Jinnie."

You: "No, I'm sorry. It was wrong of me to bring up your past like that, that's not who you are anymore."

Sora: "But I brought up your ex... what she did to you is nothing to what I did."

You: "No, what you did in the past you regret and have made amends for. No one blames you for anything."

Sora: "Can we just.... can you meet?"

You: "Yeah, let me get changed and I'll be at the park in six."

Sora: "Alright, see you there."

I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding, walking inside and getting a tracksuit on, my mask and hat and keys, and walking out with my phone too. As promised, I got to the park in six, and shortly after she also appeared. "Sora!" I called out, walking over and hugging her tightly, not wanting to let go. "Jinnie...." She whimpered, suddenly crying. We stood for a long time, enjoying each other's brace. When we finally pulled away, I could see that she wasn't wearing makeup and chuckled, wiping her face for her. "I'm so sorry, Sora." I whispered, kissing her forehead gently. "I'm sorry too, I shouldn't of been so selfish." She sniffled, giving me an apologetic look. "Let's not do that again, agreed?" I chuckled lightly, holding out my pinkie finger. "Never again." She chuckled back stuffily. We laughed and linked pinkies, giving each other a quick kiss before walking back, me dropping her off with another warm, tight hug and a kiss before walking back to my own dorm. I got in, thinking everyone was still asleep when my maknae, Sanha, suddenly appeared, rubbing his eyes and whining. "Hyung~ Why did you get back so late?" He asked cutely. "I made up with Sora, maknae." I grinned happily, even more happy when his eyes brightened and he loped over to hug me. "That's great, hyung! Will you be happy again now?" He asked, getting a big yes from me. "Did you want water? I'll get it for you." I said, pouring us both a glass of cold water before going back to our rooms and going to sleep.
