Young Justice x child reader

15) Black

(Y/N) POV

We have almost located all the Kroloteans, and right now are Jaime and Karen, A.K.A Blue Beetle and Bumblebee, out and get the last one. Some of the ones who are by them self has managed to escape. We are trying to find the escaped Kroloteans and send them away. 

''(Y/N). Stop working on that machine and help us at Malina island.'' Says Dick and stand beside me.

''Why Malina island?'' I ask and place the tools in the toolbox. 

''The escaped Kroloteans are there.'' I nodded and run towards the bio-ship with Nightwing. Suit on and ready to kick some alien thief.  Outside is it dark, night time, and some of the Justice League with their protegé are in the bio-ship.

''Remember, this is primarily a recon mission. We want to discover all we can about the Kroloteans invasion strategy before we shut them down and deliver them to the Green Lantern Corps.'' Says Batman. 

''Also, since we have already trapped them on Earth, are they now scared and wanna run away or something like that. They are like animals, but with some more intelligent.'' I added. I am sitting on Nightwing's lap on the big chair. I always wanted to learn how to control the ship, but M'gann won't let me. 

''Approaching drop zone beta.'' Informed Nightwing to Aquaman and Lagoon Boy. They get inside under the water, while we take one of the side doors. ''Drop zone gamma.'' The bat gang do their thing and take out the guards. I step in front of the door and make crystal in between to make it grow and move the door aside for us to get in. We split up, and I am with Batman. 

''Wow. The Kroloteans has made it this far?'' I mumble and watch the drones moving around. Not too long after we get inside, starts the fight. I stay behind for a little and watch the machine. Their must be a power cord somewhere... There. I fly up to the very top and pull out a mint green liquid tube. 

''Jewel, help La'gann.'' Order Nightwing. I make a minibag to the tube and fly down. I make a spear and throw it right down it's back. Sparks everywhere, and the drone drops dead. Out of the corner of my eye, do I see a black figure going down somewhere.

''A Krolotean is going downstairs, I get it.'' I say through the com link and fly down to where the figure went. Under where the fight is happening, is there a big cord, their energy for the hole machine. One of the stand is the black figure. It is placing a bomb. ''Stop and surrender.'' I get ready to use my power. The person step into the light and my eyes widen. It looks like Blue Beetle, but it's black instead. 

''The meat that person wanna have. Unfortunately, is it not the time yet.'' The Black Beetle shot some plasma shot at me. I tried to dugde it and make a shield, but it wasn't big enough and it hit my right in the eyes.

3rd POV

Jewel lay down on the ground, unconsciousness. Black Beetle just ignore her and run away.

''Nightwing to delta squad. Enemy is attempting escape. Request backup. Jewel, what is your position?'' No answer. ''Jewel... Batman, something happen to Jewel. I'm going down.'' Says Nightwing and find the path down. Not before trying to talk to Kaldur. When Kaldur send a missile, went Nightwing to the tunnel. Kaldur follow.

''Just you and me, old friend.'' Treated Kaldur.

''No. It's a regular reunion special.'' Added Superboy and joined. They didn't fight, but Kaldur showed them the bomb. Nightwing look beside it and see (Y/N) laying limp on the ground.

''Jewel.'' Shouts Nightwing. Superboy take action and lift the princess up. ''We have a bomb down here. Alien tech. I cannot disarm it, and Jewel is down for an unknown reason.''

''I get it out.'' Superboy try to touch it, but Nightwing stop him.

''No. It might have pressure or motion sensors. All squads evacuate the bio-ship now.'' Nightwing take (Y/N) in his arms and run for the tunnel up. Outside is the bio-ship waiting and the others have return to it, except for Superman. ''He will be fine, but right now do we have a problem. (Y/N) is hurt and most in her eyes.'' Wonder Woman run over to her while Nightwing place her on a chair.

''Bad burns on her eyes, and not something those aliens could do.'' Says Wonder Woman and check for a pulse, there is one. Miss Martian start the bio-ship and fly as far as she can from the explosion, but she got hit by the wave. 

*Time skip*

''Her burns has been threaten, but we can't say that it didn't damage her eye sight. She need to wake up for more analyse.'' Informed Captain Adam to the team who is waiting outside the medical room. 

''How would she react, when she wake up. Jade took of with the League to help clear their name, but doesn't know about (Y/N)'s condition?'' Ask Beast Boy.

''He know, but he trust us to take care of her. Apparently is a Galexmentia member, quick to heal.'' Informed Batgirl.

''So we guess she will have sight problem for a while.'' Added Superboy.

''But who did this?'' Ask Jaime. The member who went on the mission look at each other.

''We actually don't know, but we will get answer when she wakes up.'' Nightwing walk inside the medical room and see (Y/N) sleeping. Bandage on her eyes and she is moving around, making the blanket fall down and make her cold.

''She still can't sleep in one position.'' Joked Robin and walk in to with Batgirl. Nightwing chuckle and move the blanket to cover her body again.

''She sleeps like a baby.'' Chuckle Barbara. When the bat gang is alone with (Y/N), do they return to be their normal self. 

''Dick, you need to fill a report for the mission. I take the first shift and keep and eye on (Y/N).'' Says Tim and sit on the chair beside the bed. Dick nodded and walk through the door.

''If that person is still alive, then I am gonna kill that person.'' Muttered Barbara. Tim wanted to say something back, but get stopped by (Y/N) moving more wildly.

''Leave me alone... It hurt... Make it stop.'' Mumble (Y/N) and thrash around more. 

''She is having another nightmare. M'gann, please get in here and help. (Y/N) is having another nightmare, bigger this time.'' Says Tim through mind link. M'gann come rushing in and see the poor girl sweaty and thrashing around, even though Barbara is holding her down.

''I take a look and make it stop.'' M'gann's eyes glow green. She stand inside a red room, with a lot of alien tech she doesn't know. (Y/N) is inside a tube where you can see her powers are getting sucked out of her. She in her suit and M'gann watch as her wings crumble and disappear.

''Her power is forever long. Interesting and fascinated.'' M'gann try too look at who said that, but she is only seeing four shadow.

''As long as she is alive and get some rest, then her power will live. Galexmentia is soon beggin of mercy and for getting their dear princess back.'' One of the shadow place a hand on the glass tube.

''She was a challenge to get, but that didn't stop me at all. She wasn't easy like the first time, where I hit her in the face.'' M'gann gasped and return to the real world. Robin and Batgirl are looking at her. (Y/N) have stopped moving and sleeping again. Robin have give her a tranquilize to calm down.

''I don't know who did it, but she is far more in danger than we believe.''
