"What are you gonna wear? Are you going to do your hair differently? Is he going to pick you up? Are you going to kiss him?" May hadn't shut up with the same questions for 3 days since Jacob asked me if I would go to his Aunt's wedding with him as his date.

"Oh my gosh May! I dont know!" I burst out. She looked taken aback for a minute before bursting out into laughter. I smiled at her but shoved her shoulder.

"I'm just teasing. Its kind of cute! You guys make such a cute couple!" She laughed. We were both sitting in May's dad's car, driving around trying to figure out where to get breakfast before school. We could have just gone to Starbucks but for some reason that whole block of area was super crowded today so we decided to get a break from the freaky mess and go somewhere else for once. We had been driving around for almost half an hour and still hadnt decided on one place to eat.

"May stop! You're teasing is getting kind of really annoying you know" This earned me unending laughter. I closed my eyes and leaned my head back on the seat. Out of nowhere May slammed her foot on the breaks and the car jerked forward before stopping abruptly.

"What the heck May-"

"Sorry Sorry! Shit! look" I looked outside and saw a huge linup outside of Starbucks.

"What the hell"

"You dont think maybe--" May stopped short because I shot her a deathly glare. No way, One Direction could possibly chose the one Starbucks I work at to come and grab coffee. It just wasnt possible.

"Forget breakfast, lets just go to class. I have a huge presentation first thing in the morning and I'm already cranky" I sighed. May nodded at me and took her foot of the break. In 10 minutes we were at school and things still didnt seem better. People were mulling around talking about the new popstars in town. I hate celebrities.

"Daina! Thank God. Thank God! Oh my gosh you're here! Thank God" As soon as I walked into Starbucks, those were the words I heard. I looked around and saw my help was much needed in here. I put down my book bag and took off my jean jacket and put them on the table next to the counter.

I put on my green Starbucks apron and tied up my hair into a messy bun. I walked to the cashier and looked up at the customer in front of me. I took a couple of orders before Mike, another colleague of mine walked into the main room and took over.

"How were classes today?" He asked me. Mike went to community college nearby. I once asked him why he never chose University because it seemed like Mike was a really smart guy and he told me University and the pressure that comes with it just wasn't for him.

"The same. Usual. Boring. I don't know." I sighed and sat next to where he was working on the counter.

"Bored with school already young one?"

"Mike, you're the same age as me." I deadpanned. He laughed and took his apron off.

"Well I'm off!"

"Already?" I asked in dibelief. I didnt want Mike to leave me alone here to work with all of these customers.

"Yeah, I have somewhere to be so I asked for early release this whole week."

"Well thanks Mikey. For leaving all the work to me" He laughed and shuffled my hair before throwing his apron in one of the cupboards and walking out towards the door. When Mike was gone, it was suddenly way too quiet in the cafe so I decided to walk to the little radio we had and put in a CD by The 1975. The second the music started playing, I felt more relaxed already.
