Chapter 13

Luke p.o.v

"Ezra, there's something I need to tell you" he took a deep breath.
"Kanan came here while you were gone"

He sat in the couch looking mad.

"Why didn't you called?"

"You were having a panic attack. I didn't want to freak you out more"

"He knew that you were my friend?"

"Yes, he found out"

"What did he said?"

"That he's leaving, for your own good. That he's sorry and that if you want to give him a second chance he will always wait for you"

He got up and walked till the window looking outside.

"Ezra, I really think that he's sorry"

He turned to face us.

"How can I be sure?"

"You should talk to him, you still have time. He doesn't have a ship and he has to be still in town searching for a way to leave"

He was about to say something but then his eyes widened.

"Luke, No!"

And then everything went black.

Kanan p.o.v

The space bus landed. I looked at Datooin's twin suns.
Goodbye Ezra
I walked inside the bus and sat on my sit but then I heard it.

"Wait!"

Before the door could close Ezra jumped inside.
He looked at me and then at the pilot.

"You will land the ship"

"I will land the ship"

I looked at him with wide eyes and I couldn't help but smile in pride. His skills have improved. The ship landed and then he looked at the passengers.

"You will forget everything"

"We will forgetting everything" Everyone said.

"You can leave now"

"We can leave now"
Then all the passengers sat up and left. When everyone left he came closer to me.

"I need your help"

"Ezra about what happened-"

"No! Not now. I came here just to ask your help, Luke's in danger and I can't save him by my own"

"OK, I'm in"

"But, when we save Luke I want you to leave"
My heart broke. He's still mad. And he has every right to be.

"Ezra I-"

"Was I clear?" he said looking away from me.

I took a deep breath. It's hopeless.

"Yes"

"Alright, come on"

I sat up and followed him. We were walking in silence. The hot air was blowing. Maybe starting a talk would brake the ice.

"So.... What exactly happened to Luke?"

"Slave traders, they kidnapped him, they would have done the same to me but I managed to ran away, the also took Choper"

"How do you know where they are?"

"They had kidnapped me a long time ago"

I looked at him in terror.

"H-how?"

"Well it was just a few weeks since I came here. I was alone. I had no one to protect me. I was all alone"

I bowed down my head in shame and guilt. If I wasn't such an idiot that night that wouldnt have  happened.

He suddenly stopped out of a big old ship.

"We are here"

I looked at him and sighed.

Let's just hope that I can change his mind about me.
