Courtney's POV
I finished the movie and watched another movie for a few hours and around 11 I decided to get up, since it's Saturday after all.
I decided to text my friends Skylar, and Caroline in our group chat to meet for lunch and started charging my phone. I wonder what to wear.
After staring at my closet for what felt like forever, I decided to wear a white and black baseball tee with my pink and black flannel wrapped around my waist and for bottoms slid on my favorite pair of high waisted jean shorts. I braid my long brown hair
to the side and slipped on my white high top converse.

"Courtney your so lucky!" Skylar said while she took a bite out of her burger.
"I agree, I can't believe he DMed you!" Replied Caroline as she flicked her long blond hair over her shoulder.
"Well I don't think he'll DM me again, I mean, he has a ton of fans and a lot of people he needs to reply to." I said as I looked down at my phone for the billionth time today.
12:47, it's been about 6hrs since I messages him.
The subject ended up being changed and we left.
"I'm never scared! It's only school" Skylar said while she skipped a rock. We were currently back at my house, which is on a pond.
"High school is a whole different atmosphere, but it doesn't phase me" Caroline said while taking a sip of her water bottle.
"Well school starts in two weeks, and I wan-" my phone buzzed.
It was Sam. I smiled and gazed down at it.
"Haha thanks, your support means the world to me, don't worry you don't sound crazy you should see some of the other DMs I get.... Btw how old are you? Xx Sam"
I was shaking and I quickly showed the girls my phone. Caroline and Skylar started screaming.
"He likes you!" Caroline sang as she was hugging me
"He's a 18 year old who has over 2 million fans, he doesn't like me." I replied with a sigh
"Well why not? All the boys here do." said skylar as she walked into my house.
"All the boys here are my friends, and I'm 14!" I replied while getting a blanket and snuggling into the leather couch.
"Your almost 15." Caroline added.
"In like a month besides that's still like 3 years!" I replied.
"Whatever be that way, but when Sam asks you out don't say I didn't call it" Skylar said
"Same here. Hey I wond- oh crap! I gotta go, I'm supposed to meet Michael in like a half hour."Caroline said as she sprinted out the door. Figures she has to go meet her boyfriend again. I wonder what they're doing this time.
"I'm gonna go too, tell me if you hear from Sam again." said a laughing Skylar who as she followed our best friend out the door.
"Will do..." I said to myself.
Sam's POV
By the time I figured out what to reply it was like 12. But that didn't really matter. I quickly typed out my reply and sent it.
About a half hour later I got a reply
"Oh I know! I see some of the replies you get on twitter. They're crazy. Oh and I'm 14, I'm gonna be a freshman in like 2 weeks."
I mean I knew she was young, I didn't expect her to be over 16. Except I
thought she was 16. Two years was ok but four years is too much right now. Maybe in the future.
But there's just something about Courtney that I can't seem to get out of my head. She's just amazing and I don't even know her that well. I want her to be mine, yet that isn't gonna ever happen. She might even have a boyfriend! I'll ask her later.. Let's just keep it chill for now.. "Wow I thought you were like 16, when's your birthday?"
After that message we kept DMing at least once a day.
