Sam's POV
"What movie do you wanna see?" She asked me as I started the car.
"The purge!" I said
"ugh, Sam I hate scary movies." Courtney replied with a frown.
"Aw pweaseeee I'll protect you I promise". I said while laughing.
She seemed to think about it for minute before she said "Okay fine,"
"Really?" She nodded with a smile.
"Thanks Court I owe you," I said back.
She turned to look out the window.
I wanted to go to this movie not only because it's supposed to be great but there's also a slim chance that maybe she'll hide her head in my chest.
I really wanna hold her in my arms.
I know we are just friends, and she's about 4 years younger than me. Not to mention laws.
But she's perfect and I can't help but having a little but of feelings for her.
We pulled into the theatre and stepped out into the parking lot. I found Courtney standing next to me.
"Ready?" She asks.
"Of course bae" I replied with a wink. She laughed.
I put my arm around her shoulder and walked towards the theater. She's my best friend and nobody is gonna change that.
Just as I walked in I saw someone I didn't really want to see ever again.
Acacia.
I mumbled "shit" under my breath but continued walking to buy our tickets.
I saw Courtney glance over to see what I was looking at and then her eyes shot back to me.
"Sam you don't need to pay for mine," She said.
"But it's my treat, okay" I begged.
I didn't want her to feel bad but I'm the guy. It's actually not like anyone's forcing me to pay, I wanted to. I wanted to be a gentlemen.
"Shall we?" I said in my best posh English accent as I put my arm out. Courtney giggled.
Her laugh is adorable.
"We shall" she said as she attempted the accent.
We both laughed and headed up the stairs to give the lady our tickets.
We found the popcorn booth.
"What do you want Court?" I asked
"I'm paying this time," she said firmly.
"No it's still my treat come on, don't you wanna save your money on something better?"
Courtney's POV
"No it's still my treat come on, don't you wanna save your money on something better?" Sam said to me. What's better than spending money on you? I thought
"What's better than spending money on food" I said.
He laughed.
"True but nothing would give me more pleasure than to buy yours and myself's food and drinks." Sam replied.
I guess I'm not winning anything tonight.
"I guess" I said kind of sadly.
I love Sam, as a best friend of course, okay well I do kinda have feelings for him, but they're fan girl feelings.
