Chapter One

LEAH'S P.O.V

Me and Julie walked away from school in silence. I soon got bored waiting for her to say something. "Julie" no reply "Julie" no reply "Julie........." no reply. " God dammit! Julie say something!!" I said in a annoyed voice. "What?" she said removing her headphones. Loud music blared from them. "Never mind" I said softly. Julie slipped her headphones back on as we both coutinued walking the sidewalk. I could hear the faint sound of her music. After awhile I noticed Julie wasn't walking next to me. I turned around and saw Julie staring up at the clouds. "You o.k?" I said waving my hand in front of her face."It's gonna rain" she said still looking at the clouds. "What?" I said moving my head up to the sky. With each second the sky got darker and it soon started to drizzle on us. "Come on" Julie said grabbing my forearm and pulling me behind her. "How did yo-" I spoke. "There's a lot of things you don't know about me." Julie said not looking at me. We rushed the road. "Where are we go-" I was cut off. "Going? My house it's closer." Julie said still not looking at me. Julie pulled me across the road to North Elm. Her grip around my arm became loose. When we got back on the sidewalk she began to slow down. Julie walked up ahead of me onto a driveway. The house that stood next to it was a old yellow, that seemed like it was there for years. And a round oak tree with a old well not to far from it. The house looked like it was being eaten by the amount on bushes around it. I quickly ran up the driveway after Julie. Julie stood holding the gate open for me. "Ladies first" she said motioning me inside the gate. "But your" I said. Julie stopped me before I could finish " Just ...... get inside." I walked to the back porch and waited for Julie as she raced up the stairs. Julie opened both doors into the kitchen.
