"Snow. Snow!"

Your slowly opened your eyes, being greeted by an icy wonderland. Everywhere was covered in a thick blanket of white, the camps peeked out under their new white caps, footprints crisscrossed each other around the labyrinth of paths.

The children looked at Bobby with hopeful eyes. Bobby cracked a small smile before nodding, indicating permission to go play. Almost immediately they ran out.

Your feet were screaming for action as well as you got up. Jack looked at the ground, now covered in snow, peculiarly. His feet fiddled with the snow around him.

"What is this?" Jack asked. "It's like... Some sort of powder."

"It's snow. Now come on!" You said, dragging him along to the rest of the children.

You excitedly made a snowball, your hands freezing since they were unprotected, and joined the kids in a snowball fight. In seconds, the air was thick with snowballs so compacted that several felt solid and icy. The ones from the fresh fallen flakes burst open on impact, showering crystalline fragments that glint in the wintry light.

Jack still looked at the snow around him peculiarly. You sneakily threw a snowball to his head and quickly turned away, only for a snowball to hit you in the face.

Jack, slightly startled, brushed the snow off his hair. He had a good amount of snow in his palms, but just couldn't seem to make a snowball.

"Here. Don't use too much force on it, otherwise it'll crumble." You said, holding Jack's hands and helping him. "There you go, now throw it!"

Jack looked even more confused at the sight of the snowball in his hand. "Why throw it?" He asked.

"It's called a snowball fight for a reason, Jack." You chuckled. As if it was on cue, a snowball hit Jack in the chest.

Ryan, the kid who hit Jack, gestured to get into the action. He had an entire stash of snowballs hidden behind a tree. You quickly joined the kids on the opposite side to make as many snowballs as possible. Jack took a few tries to get a good aim, you somewhat suspected he used in powers in some way.

About a minute later, your hunch was right. Emerging from the tree, was the largest snowball you had ever seen. Jack had clumped up Ryan's stash of snowballs into one.

"Here!" Ryan cried out excitedly, standing in the middle of all the chaos. Most of the children quickly diverted their attention to the huge snowball and stood near Ryan.

"Are you sure?" Jack asked, the snowball hovering beside him.

You quickly understood what was about to happen. Jack was going to drop the snowball on top of them. "Heck yeah, I'm joining in!" You scrambled to your feet.

The large snowball cast a shadow on all of you. Jack counted down for five seconds before letting it go.

You expected the weight of the snowball to cause everyone to fall to the ground, but surprisingly it didn't. Thanks to Jack, he had tweaked the snowball to act like a cloud, bits of the snowball rained down on everyone. The snowball cloud never stopped pouring out snow, every few seconds more snow would be added, creating an endless cycle.

"Snow angel!" You said loudly with your arms in the air and let go of yourself, free falling to the ground.

You fell about halfway before a pair of hands caught you. It was Jack.

"Are you okay?" Jack asked, helping you up.

You burst out laughing. "No Jack, let me fall. I wanna make a snow angel."

"Snow angel?" Jack asked.

"Yeah! Just like what they're doing." You said, pointing to the three children opposite you. "Come on, you should try it too."

You laid down on the ground, snow quickly covering your body as you stretched your arms and legs and moved them up and down. Jack followed your lead, still very clearly confused at what's he's doing.

When you were satisfied, you got up and looked at your snow angel. Jack's snow angel caught everyone's attention. There was an outline of wings on his.

The children looked at it in awe. Jack's eyes met yours and you smiled.

Two girls ran by you with buckets. Soon after, another three boys had buckets in their grasp as well. No further question was needed, the children set off to build a snowman.

You helped one of the girls gather leaves in one of the buckets. The leaves were to be the hair of the snowman. Another girl gathered twigs and branches, for the snowman's hands.

The final product definitely wasn't the most perfect snowman. It didn't have a nose, its smile was carved poorly using a stick, its hair was all over the place, its eyes, which were pebbles, didn't stick too well to the face. A scarf was loosely wrapped around its neck.

But that didn't matter. In the children's eyes, it was the best snowman they could've asked for.

Jack stood in the middle of everything. His eyes were full of wonder and curiosity, taking the wonders of winter in.

"It's beautiful." Jack blurted out, his lips forming a smile.

"It sure is." You smiled back.

"Y/N, for what it's worth, I'm glad you're here with me." Jack said.

"Me too, Jack. Me too." You said as you held hands with Jack.
