A/N: There really isn't much to write for this episode, so I'm just gonna keep it short and simple (There's only like 5 minutes worth of footage to base on to write)

13X21~Beat The Devil

Setting up the satellite colony at Dayton had been paying off extremely well. In a matter of days, at least 20 people had joined the rebel cause. You received word that about 9 more people were on their way. Jack had been more determined than ever to gather as many people as possible for the strength in numbers.

While you were busy treating one of the wounded, the wardings around the outpost started glowing, smoke was steaming out of it. You recognised the phenomenon, it was exactly what happened when the angels broke the warding back when Jack worked together with Kaia to open the rift. You and Mary made eye contact, quickly sounding the alarm. You grabbed your pistol and rushed out with Mary.

You froze in your tracks when you saw the people you never thought you would see again. Dean and Castiel. Alongside them was another man with and a girl. But wait, where was Sam?

"Castiel." Mary said, then turning to Dean and walked towards him. "How did you even find us?" Mary gasped, hugging him tight.

You fell to your knees in front of Castiel, unable to believe what you're seeing. You wondered about Dean's cold expression. You wanted to say something, but you couldn't. A thousand questions swarmed your mind but all you could do was hug Castiel tight.

"Dean... Where's Sam?" Mary asked with a wide smile.

Dean kept quiet, you noticed that Castiel looked away from you as well. Dean began to cry. You looked to the other man, noticing he had an angel blade on him, he too looked away.

"Sammy... He..." Dean trailed away. Dean muttered to himself, still crying and finally choked the words out. "He's dead."

"What?" You whispered in disbelief and broke into cold sweat. "No."

"Y/N, it's true." Castiel confirmed.

You shook your head, not wanting to accept the truth as Castiel and the other angel, Gabriel, apparently an archangel, told how vampires had killed Sam, how they couldn't save him in time. Mary looked at her son, now with eyes of sorrow before pulling him into another hug. You and Mary then led everyone else back. You couldn't picture what Jack's reaction would be.

Wanting to be alone, you dashed forward to get back quicker and separated yourself from the group. You were still in denial. Tears streamed down your face as the memories of you and Sam surfaced. How he had helped you, guided you, made you feel you were worth something.

You ran straight into Jack, falling on him.

"What's wrong, Y/N?" Jack asked, noticing your red and puffy eyes.

You couldn't bring yourself to say it. "You-You'll see." Was all you could say.

Jack froze in shock when he saw Dean, Castiel, Gabriel and Maggie. Eventually, he got the news of Sam's death.

"No, he can't be dead. He can't be dead." Jack said to himself.

"Jack, I-" Castiel put a hand on Jack's shoulder but Jack quickly pushed it down.

"Couldn't you bring him back? Why didn't you bring him back?!" Jack demanded in anger.

"I'm not strong enough." Gabriel admitted.

"Jack, if we could've, we would've. I'm so sorry." Castiel said.

Suddenly, bells around the camp began to ring.  You anticipated another attack but a familiar figure approached all of you. Sam Winchester.

"Sam." You and Jack whispered at the same time.

Your joy did not last for long when another figure walked behind him.

"Hello son." He said, looking at Jack.

Lucifer was here.
