No One's Pov:

The next morning, everyone was buzzed up. The chatter never ceased, only adding to the excitement going around. When everyone was finished eating, Cuphead called them back.

Cuphead's Pov:

"I think we really need to talk about the quest for the Ink Machine. I mean, haven't we been here long enough? We really need to find it, now more than ever. With me and all." Cuphead felt a little selfish for trying to hurry everyone along, but he knew it was for the best. Mugman looked very unsure. "Mugs, what's wrong?" Mugs looked up, then away. Slowly, he began speaking.

Mugman's Pov:

"But, what if it's not even real? I've kinda been wondering about that. What if all Bendy and Boris are doing is chasing a wild goose? W-what if t-there's nothing? What i-if the Ink M-Machine really is just a myth? How do we know we're not spending C-Cuppy and Bendy's l-lives on nothing but a fake map? I don't want them to die for nothing... I don't want either of you to die."

Bendy's Pov:

"Mugs, I once had the same doubts. I told Boris he was following a dead-end trail. 'Said he would only end up hurt and disappointed. You wanna know what he told me?" Bendy paused and Mugman nodded. "He told me-and I quote- 'If you don't take a chance, how do you know if it's good one? We can't hid away and worry.'" Boris gave Bendy a loving look. "You taught me that one, Big Ben." Bendy felt his cheeks burn as he remembered that he, in fact, had.
