A Quest of the Heart

Chapter 14

(Several more months pass after Bendy and Cuphead are cured. Cuphead feels it's time to take things to a more permanent setting(He's gonna ask Bendy's hand) But first, he feels Boris must approve.)

Cuphead's Pov:

Oh, boy... I hope Boris'll give me a chance. Slowly, he walked up to Boris. "Hey, Boris? C-can I ask you something?" Boris looked at him and smiled,"Sure, Cup. What's up?" Cuphead wrung his hands together nervously . Finally, he took a deep breath, "I want to ask Bendy to marry me." Boris looked at Cuphead, his smile gone. Is he going to yell at me? Fuck. "Prove it." Boris said plainly. "H-huh?" "Prove to me you're worthy of marrying my brother." Cuphead thought for a minute. "W-when I'm around Bendy, I feel as if nothing else matters. As if all I'd have to do is lay down and nothing would change. He's changed everything about me and my life ever since we met. Had it not been for him, I wouldn't even be here. I cou-" Boris cut him off by holding his hand up. "Cuphead. You're more than worthy to be my brother's partner." He smiled at Cup.

(Several Hours Later)

Bendy's Pov:

"God, Cuppy! This must've cost a fortune!" Bendy looked around the fancy restaurant in awe. "Naw, it was only a couple  hundred coins." Cuphead looked at him lovingly Bendy blushed,"C-Cuppy!" Bendy and Cuphead ordered and talked  for what felt like hours. After they ate, they sat in silence. He's been awful quiet all evening. What's up with him? "Cuphead, you okay?" Cup jumped, obviously he had been zoned out. "H-huh? Oh, yeah. I'm fine Bends... Actually, there's something I want to ask you..." Cuphead stood up from his chair, then keeled down. Wh-what's he doing? "Bendy... You know I love you more than life its self, right? Well, here it goes... W-will you, Bendy Demon, marry me?" Cuphead had pulled out a silver ring decorated in emeralds an diamonds. Bendy couldn't believe his eyes, it was just so beautiful. "C-Cuphead! I... y- Wait, what about Boris?" "Don't worry about him, he already agreed. He told me I was more than worthy of you." Slowly, Bendy reached out his left hand."In that case, yes. Yes, I will marry you!" Cuphead slipped the ring on Bendy's finger, picked him up, spun him around and kissed him. The whole restaurant cheered, causing both Bendy and Cuphead to blush, and to kiss again.

(Cuphead and Bendy leave the restaurant and go home. When they get home, the others are up.)

No One's Pov:

"What's everybody doing up?" Bendy said as he and Cuphead walked into the living room. "We were all waiting to hear the news." Felix answered. "Well, Cuphead proposed."  "And?" Boris pressed. "And, I said 'no'." "H-huh?!" Boris looked completely shocked. "I'm joking,  Boris! Of course I said yes!" "Well, where's the ring, Bendy?" Oswald looked just as excited as the rest o them. Bendy showed them the ring and smiled happily at Cuphead. "Cuppy, you spent your life's savings, didn't you?" Mugman looked upset. "No, Mugs. Boris and I split the money to buy the ring. No savings spent." Mugs looked relived, then he hugged Cuphead "I'm so happy for you!"
