A Quest of the Heart

Chapter 12

After the group left Inkwell Island, Cuphead and Mugman managed to get Bendy and Boris to a hospital. After that, everyone awaited for Bendy to wake up. Several months pass while they wait, worrying Cuphead more and more. ) 

Bendy's Pov:

Slowly, Bendy opened his eyes. Pain hit him instantly. Agh! I feel like I've been hit with a million bricks. He looked around and realized he was in a hospital room and a bed. He looked toward the window and saw Cuphead with his head on the hospital bed, fast asleep. "Cuphead? Cuppy, I'm here. Cuppy?" Cuphead stirred, opened his eyes, and looked at him. "Bends? Oh my god! Bendy!" Cuphead threw his arms around him and hugged him tight. "I-I was getting so worried! I w-was afraid you might never wake up! B-but you're here now, a-and you're alive!" Cuphead began kissing Bendy passionately, causing him to blush. How long have I been out? I feel so bad for him.

Cuphead's Pov:

Suddenly, Bendy gasped. "W-what about Boris? Is he okay? Please tell me he's okay!" I almost forgot how much he cares about his brother. "I'll get the others." Cuphead got up and left the room.

Boris's Pov:

Boris was skimming through a random magazine in the waiting room with the others, waiting on Cuphead. He glanced up and saw Cuphead coming towards them. "So, you ready to-" Cuphead cut Boris off. "Bendy's awake." No way, this is a joke! "Y-you're joking, right?!" Cuphead shook his head and smiled at him. Boris jumped up and ran to Bendy's room. Sure enough, there was his brother awake and kicking. "Bendy!" He ran to his brother and threw his arms around Bendy. H-he's okay! I can't believe it! Boris's tail wagged happily. "You're okay, big bro!" 

Felix's Pov:

"I'm so happy, you're okay, Bendy! We were all so worried." He smiled at him. "Thanks, Felix!" Then Felix turned to Cuphead, "And I'm glad you have you're l-" Oswald cut him off from finishing by kissing him. after a minute, he pulled away. "O-Ozzy..." Felix smiled at his boyfriend. Well, there goes our secret. Nice, Ozzy. "Again with cutting people you love off by kissing them. Stop that, all of you!" Boris said, glaring playfully.

Bendy's Pov:

Mickey came in through the door and turned to Bendy,"The doctors said you can leave in two days. They told me it's only to do a few more tests, just to be sure, then you're out." Bendy smiled at his family, pleased by the news. "Awesome, Mickey! Thanks for checking." Alright, I think we should go now. We don't want to overwhelm the little guy now." Cuphead shot bendy a smirk. "Who you calling 'little', Cuphead?" He chuckled, glaring playfully. "Bye, Bendy!" Bendy settled back into bed and turned to the window. I'm glad things are working out for us all.
