A Quest of the Heart

Chapter 15

(Finally, after months of preparing, the big day finally arrived.)

Cuphead's Pov:

Standing in front of everyone who had been invited to the wedding, he anxiously waited for Bendy to come down the aisle. Finally, the music began to play. All the guests turned to look at Bendy. He looks amazing. I can't wait to be his partner. After vows were exchanged, the time came for the "I do's" "Do you, Cuphead take Bendy Demon?" Cuphead smiled down at his fiance,"I do." "Do you, Bendy Demon take Cuphead?" Bendy looked up at Cuphead. "I-I... Do." After they were pronounced, Cuphead picked up his husband and kissed him passionately. Everyone cheered.

Bendy's Pov:

He looked around at all the friends and family that had come. I can't believe everyone  came. Then, Bendy saw someone he was certain he'd never have to see again. No, it can't be! "D-Dad?!" Everyone turned and looked at the older wolf. Slowly, he walked up the aisle. He stopped a few paces from the couple. "Hey, Bendy. Long time no see, huh?" He smiled slightly. "W-what? How, what? Why are you here?" "Well, I was in town when I heard a young man named 'Bendy Demon' was getting married today. I wanted to see if it was the same boy all those years ago." Bendy was about to say something nasty when Cuphead spoke. "Why don't you stay and have a meal with us?" Bendy's father smiled and nodded.

(At the dinner)

Boris's Pov:

"Uncle Sammy!" Boris ran to the older cat and hugged him. "Well, you honestly didn't think I'd miss my nephew's wedding, did ya?" Sammy walked over to Bendy and hugged him too, then he saw their father. "Hello, Joseph. So you weren't bluffing when you said you were going to look for the boys." Sammy smiled slightly. Everyone sat down and began a slight chatter. Should I ask him? What if he gets mad? "H-hey, Dad?" Joseph turned to him."Um, how come you're here? Last time we saw you, you were  at the house passed out." His dad smiled at him "Well..."

(Yes, the daddy has a point of view. He deserves one now that he's here.)

Joseph's Pov:

"Well, after you boys left I continued to drink nonstop..." Bendy rolled his eyes," Why am I not surprised?" Boris poked him with his elbow. Joseph couldn't help but laugh. They're still the same rivals they were all those years ago. "One night, however, I didn't drink. My head was so clear, I realized I needed to find my kids. I packed up my bags and began the search, telling Sammy before I left what I planned to do. I spent- How  old are you  two?" Joseph realized he hadn't bothered  to keep track  of how many years had passed. "Bendy's 18 and I'm 12." Boris supplied. "Well, in that case, I spent 10 years searching for you two. I followed lead after lead. Now, I finally get to see my boys again." He smiled lovingly at his sons. Surprisingly, Boris smiled back. Bendy, however, did not. ""Ben? Listen, I-" Bendy snapped, cutting him off."YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST WALTZ IN HERE, PRETEND YOU'VE ALWAYS CARED AND EXPECT ME TO FORGIVE YOU?! I DON'T THINK SO! YOU HURT ME! YOU DESERVED TO LOSE MOM!" Bendy jumped up and ran away, crying. Cuphead began to stand up to go after him, But Boris got up and ran after him.

Felix's Pov:

Felix turned and looked at Joseph, who had tears steaming down his face.  "J-Joseph? Are you okay?" Joseph shook his head and sighed. "I-I think I'd better go... I've c-caused enough trouble." He began to get up, but Felix stopped him. "Joseph, you don't have to punish yourself." Joseph looked at him,"Oh, but I do. I  did such awful things to that boy. I can't expect him to forgive me. I don't deserve forgiveness." Cuphead chuckled. "How is this funny, Cuphead?" Felix asked in an accusing tone. "N-no, it's just that you sound like Bendy, Joseph. He's always saying things  like how, cause he's a demon he's bad and whatnot. He's an awful lot like you." I can't believe I thought this wolf was a terrible person. Felix knew he and the others would help Joseph.
