"Just let me go home!" Eddie screamed.

He was wondering through an empty alley, hopelessly drunk. The sun had set a long time ago, and yet he tripped over his own feet as he cursed into the night air.

"I miss my crappy apartment! I miss my surf board! I miss my crappy job! I miss home!"

He finally stumbled into a trash can and fell to the ground. A bottle of red wine, just a sip left, dangling from his fingertips. He took the last sip and stared into the night sky. He knew he'd regret this in the morning, he had a show, he had an interview, he had to put the mask of fame back on. But for now, he was just Eddie Vedder. He was just a drunken boy missing his home. The stars above him twinkled and he slowly closed his eyes.

11:00 a.m. next morning

"Eddie? Eddie?!"

Three boys scanned the streets of Seattle, Washington looking for their friend. One had long, curly, brown, hair and green eyes, and looked to be above six feet tall. Another had long, straight, brown hair pulled back into a backwards baseball cap. The last one had dark brown hair and a shimmering smile.

"Where could he be?" The one in the baseball cap asked.

"How the hell should I know? Chris?" The smiling friend asked, gesturing to the taller man.

"He's in your band! You should know him better!" He grinned at his comments, knowing he was wrong.

"You live with him asshole, I think you know him best. Hey! Stone! I think he's over here!" The capped boy yelled, pulling the smiling one towards him.

They crowded around a sleeping boy, curly hair covering his face and and empty wine bottle clutched in his hand.

"Yup, that's definitely him." Stone said, kicking away the bottle.

"You gunna pick him up?" Mike asked, turning to Chris.

"And why should I?" Chris asked, pretending to be offended.

"Really dude? You're like six feet taller than both of us, you're fucking ripped..." He caught himself staring and quickly got to the point, "just pick the bastard up." Stone remarked, crouching down to move the hair out of Eddie's face.

Chris pulled Eddie up, and over his shoulder with one swift movement.

"Hey! W-What's goin' on?" Eddie slurred, trying to see past his long hair.

"Settle down little guy, I got you." Chris smiled and patted Eddie's back. The younger boy immediately calmed down, letting his arms fall down Chris's back.

"C-Chris?" Eddie asked, his voice trembling.

"Yeah?"

"When do I get to go home?"

"Soon buddy, soon."

Eddie frowned, "Soon?"

"Yes Eddie, soon." Eddie could hear the smile in Chris's voice.

Eddie was lowered into the back of Chris's car, and Stone sat beside him.

"Let's pick up breakfast, I know a place that has this omelette...cures a hangover like nothin' else!" Stone smiled at Eddie, both of their stomachs grumbling.

Chris pulled up to the alleged 'Hangover Cure Diner'. It was falling apart, rusted neon signs, empty parking lot, broken windows, the perfect place to bring your family.

"Stone, how the hell did you find this pl-" Mike was cut off by Stone, "I have my ways, okay?"

Stone was a mysterious man, no one knew anything about him. In fact, rumors where the only thing that kept him alive.

I heard Stone is gay.

Did you hear that Stone has a family in South Africa?

I'm pretty sure Stone has at least three girlfriends.

Stoney? I heard he's got an ass tattoo of his dog.

He only ever laughed at these rumors, but he never denied their truth. The door to the diner was opened by Mike, he checked around the empty tables, looking for anyone. The lights where on, but it looked like nobody was home.

"JOSH!!" Stone screamed. All of the boys jumped at the sudden noise. A young girl came running  from the kitchen, a smile spread on her face as Stone knelt down to her height and gave her a hug.

"Well, Josephine, get us some omelettes!" The girl smiled and ran back into the kitchen.

"What the fuck?" Chris mumbled under his breath.

"Dude how the fuck do you know this little girl? How often do you come here?" Eddie questioned, as he spoke even more questions came into his mind.

"I'm hungover a lot." Stone shrugged.

After a couple minutes and some loud crashing coming from the kitchen, the girl came back out, precariously holding four plates in her small hands.

The boys devoured the omelettes, almost licking their plates clean. Eddie could feel the pain of his hangover drifting away slowly as he sat back in the booth. His long hair flowed perfectly over his chest and arms, framing their muscular accents. His tanned skin glowed softly in the afternoon light streaming through the half broken window of the diner. He let out a sigh, all he wanted was to be home.

Chris sensed this from across the table, he leaned forward, his long hair falling over his shoulders and green eyes.

"Ed..."

Eddie looked out the window, a sad look consumed his gorgeous blue eyes.

"Ed..." Chris repeated.

"What?" Eddie snapped back, his anger had always been a part of him, and lashing out was a common occurrence.

"Eddie, we can go home soon, I promise." Chris smiled his warm smile. He had swore to protect Eddie, he had become Eddie's 'older brother' in a sense.

"But Chris!!" Eddie whined, "I wanna go home right now!!"

"Alright Sandy Cheeks, we'll get you back to Texas in a couple days." Chris joked, earning laughs from Stone and Mike.

4:00 p.m.

Eddie slid his sunglasses over his eyes, not that he needed them in rainy Seattle.

Why do they even call it Seattle, there's no sea!

Eddie craved the salty air of the ocean and the sweet bliss that came with each wave. He ached for his surf board, to feel the edges, and to ride it into a wave. He just wanted to be home.
