"Had enough mutt?" the beta laughed sprinkling the bruised and battered rouge with silver. She growled in fury."Feisty are we? Let's see what the alpha thinks." He laughed again. He mind linked the alpha, "Still growling Sir, should I..." he was cut by the Alpha,"I take her. I'll be there in a minute."

Zoya leaned against the wall looking at the beta of the pack. She hated him, she hated his pack. But most of all his alpha. They were the reason she was an orphan. She felt the tiny pouch of wolfsbane. It was the only weapon she carried which they hadn't seen and seized. It was a last resort if she wasn't able to kill the alpha, she would have it and die herself.

The cell door banged open and she saw the intimidating and muscular Alpha. Her eyes met his obsidian black ones and her skin tingled as she heard his deep voice growl "Mate"

Her wolf growled inside her too, but there was only one thought in her mind Not him. She flinched with disgust as he moved towards her with soft steps and knelt next to her,"Mine..." he whispered making her skin crawl. It was a split second in which she made her decision. She jerked down quickly and pulled at the pouch at her neck and bit.

"No!" she heard a shout as the Alpha pulled the pouch from between her teeth. She tried to struggle, but it was useless with her hands and legs bound in silver chains. She swallowed the miniscule amount of wolfsbane that had escaped into her mouth and let the darkness that followed embrace her. She knew it would not kill her but it would give her at least a few hours knocked out.

Our mate hates you Xavier... She will reject us. Xavier's wolf said. She can't! Xavier replied trying to placate his wolf. She would rather die than be with us. But I want her. Don't let her reject us Xavier. The wolf rumbled. How can I stop her. I want her too. Xavier whined internally. Mark her while she is unconscious. His wolf said. Xavier was stunned at what his wolf was suggesting. But he wanted this girl. She was his mate. He leaned into her neck and his canines elongated, he pierced her skin and moaned with pleasure as her sweet life blood filled him. He felt his canines retract and pulled himself away with a last lick at her delicate neck. Mine his wolf said pleased. "Sir?" Xavier growled at the beta who had dared to disturb him. "What? " " Sir, I was wondering if I should announce that the Luna has been found? " the beta replied nervously. "No..Nobody finds out. She tried to kill herself to stay away from me. I will keep her a secret, till she learns to accept me. " he said looking at his little mate. "I won't tell a soul sir." the beta promised. "Oh you won't. Because to tell, you need to leave this cell alive. Which you won't. I am sorry, you have been a trustworthy Beta all these years, but my mate comes before you." Xavier said with a smirk as he twisted the man's neck in a moment to fast to see. He left the Beta's corpse on the floor as he proceed to unchain his mate.

"You won't ever leave me. " he whispered into her soft hair, envloping her in his arms and lifting her out of the cell and into his plush room.
