Xavier waited till Zoya's cries subsided. He then said, "Kitten when was the last time you ate?" Zoya looked up, her eyes still red and stinging. "Don't remember, maybe yesterday or the day before? "her voice was raspy.Xavier gave her a look of disapproval.
"First we are going to the kitchen and you will eat something. Then we are going out." he smiled. "Out?" Zoya asked. "We are going shopping to buy you some clothes. " "But I don't..." Zoya started off, but then stopped abruptly releasing she didn't have any clothes.
"Come on kitten, let's feed you! "Xavier grinned, happy to see his mate clinging to him. She nodded as he helped her up and down the stairs to the kitchen.
"Why is the house empty? "Zoya mustered up courage to ask."I sent everyone away, I don't want anyone seeing you as of yet." he replied piling a plate high with rice and curry. "Eat." he handed the plate to Zoya. She looked at the intimidating amount of food in the plate and began to take small bites. She barely finished half of it and said, "I've had enough, I am full." "Zoya finish the food. You need it." Xavier said calmly. "Please I am done, I can't eat more. " she whined. "Kitten, you are finishing the food and that's final. Now eat." he used his alpha voice on her and she gulped as the fear seeped right into her bones.She then began the herculean task of finishing her food under Xavier's watchful eyes.
