Pushing past Doctor Hugo Strange, she held her left side and made way to near his medical supplies. "You got anything that can help heal me faster?" She asked. He closed his door and began striding over. "That depends..." He purred through his silver tongue. She pulled her gun out from the back of her pants and aimed it at him. "I seen you working on that big dumb ghost that was Penguin's friend. I know you can do things. Make me heal faster." She ordered. "I do, have a serum that will help you. But it might take some time to get it to you. I do, have a couple patients before you." He told her. He moved a curtain and revealed Edward Nygma and Lee. She looked to them and lowered her arm. "What happened to them?" She asked. "They had nearly killed one another." He chimed. She looked back to him then directed to her wound with the handgun and lifted the side of her shirt. "Just inject me. Get it over with then do whatever ghastly thing you are with them." She demanded. He left from Lee's side and got a needle and serum, then extracted the serum and approached her. Piercing her skin with the needle, she winced and looked away. He pushed down on the end and injected her. Then removed the needle and left her. She put her shirt down. "Thanks, Doc." She said and left to a window. Keeping her hand on her side. "You should stay here for a few days. It will take at least that. And I will remove the stitches for you." He said. She looked to him. "No way. I'm not sticking around with you for three days. And being here when those two wake up." She said then headed to the door. Once back on the streets she looked left and right. Where to go now? She thought.

Wandeeing the streets, she spotted a man dressed in rags recruiting people. He turned towards her. Seemed like he should be hanging on a stake in a corn field. "Hello. Mind joining us?" He asked her. "Yes." She declined. "Well then. Maybe you can fight your worst fear!" He shouted and began to approach her with a nasty stride. She ran from him down the street and went onto the sidewalk then plowed into someone and spun, but they caught her in their arms. Like something out of a romance film. "Hey. Where are you going in such a hurry?" Harvey asked her. She stood up straight. "Away from that raggedy guy." She answered. "Oh. Yeah that's Scarecrow." He informed her. She raised her eyebrow. "How unoriginal." She replied. "Well hey, listen. We're rescuing people off the streets and bringing them to the GCPD if you wanna join us. Can maybe...find your bearings while you're there. If you're still lookin' at which side to take." He said. She inhaled deep then let it out slow and looked to the alley. A few homeless looking people were walking towards them. "Yeah, alright." She said and looked to him. He went to his car and opened the passenger door. "Hop in!" He encouraged. She wore a bleak expression and walked over then got in. He closed the door and helped the few climb into the back of the car. Then he got in on the driver's side and drove to the GCPD building. All of them exited the car and walked up and inside. Once inside, she saw some officers and a group of people in the center of the building. Desks were cleared out of the way and the few other homeless people joined others. "I'm going back out there to find more. Jim's out there too finding some. You wanna join me or stay here?" He asked her. "No thanks. I'll stay here." She said. "Okay. We'll be back." He told her and walked out.

She turned and walked upstairs to Jim's desk and took the gun out from the back of her pants. Then gently set it on his desk. She walked out and looked at everybody being collected from off the streets. All the innocent lives. She wasn't thinking of ending them. Or of ruling the entire GCPD building now. Even though she could. Just...didn't know where she fit in now. She looked away from the innocent street people and ran her tongue onto the front of her teeth then hung her head and scuffed the floor with her boot. Eighty seven days had passed. And she remained in the GCPD building. Eating and drinking rations as well as the innocents and the police. But she didn't speak a single word. For eighty seven days. She walked up the steps and rested her arms on the railing and watched over the people. Harvey joined her. "You feel obligated. Don't you? Like you gotta...protect them." He said. She inhaled deep then let it out slow. "I know." He said and draped his arm over her to her other shoulder. She looked at his hand holding her shoulder then back to the people. For a moment she thought of speaking but her hearing caught onto Jim speaking to the Government across the burned bridges. He was telling them about how specific villains have claimed territory now. Victor Fries was facing off against Firefly. And there has been no sighting of Jerome Valeska. She moved out of under Harvey's arm and jogged upstairs then joined Jim. Looming over his shoulder and looking at the territories. His eyes shifted to her as he was speaking then he paid attention to the microphone and still spoke to them. She watched the radio as he was talking to them. They denied him at every turn. "Just tell us we're on our own!" He said to them. There was no response back to him. "Aaahhh." He growled in frustration and turned off the radio. He sighed and sat back in his chair. "Got anything to say, yet?" He asked her. She stood back and didn't speak a word. Just looked at the radios. He slowly stood up and turned, half sitting on his desk and looked to her. Her eyes met his. "It's been eighty seven days." He said and slightly tilted his head. "You take a vow of silence or something?" He asked. "No. Just still....figuring out my feelings." She said. "You seem sad." He noticed in her.

"I miss him." She spoke, a bit of sadness in her voice. "Who? Exactly." He asked her. She didn't say anything. Just looked to the map on the desk. "Zsasz?" He asked her. She blinked then looked to the floor. "Well...if I hear anything, of where he is. I'll let you know." He told her. She looked to him and hope filled in her eyes. She breathed in deep and was about to speak then a loud argument broke out. Her eyebrows drew close together, forehead crinkling and she whipped around then marched to the railing and looked down. Jim followed and looked as well. Harvey and some skinny refugee were arguing over food rations. "That's enough!" Jim shouted. Eliza didn't flinch. She began to raise her chin. "If you don't like the rules. You can walk." He said. And the refugee plus a few others did, walk. Good luck with that. Eliza told them, in her head. Jim began to head down and she followed him. Lucius, Jim, Harvey and Eliza all gathered to talk about rations. Lucius said they have about a month's worth left. Less if more refugees come in. Lucius claimed they're on their own. Jim said their job is to keep themselves and everyone inside, safe. Harvey stated they're running low on guns and ammo too so if Penguin decides to make a move or somebody else, they're sitting ducks. Jim looked to Eliza. She seductively swung her head to look at Harvey. "Don't you worry about Penguin. I can handle that guy." She charmed. "Hey! She speaks. And that's the first thing that you tell me?" Harvey said. She looked to Jim. "I need a big gun." She told him. He jerked his head upstairs to his right. "The artillery room." He told her. She headed upstairs and went to the gun room and inside. After picking out a gun and loading it she stepped out then halted. "You really think you can handle Penguin and protect us all?" Harvey said. "He's like you. He really likes me. If I say he has to go through me, he won't." She said. "You're our savior. And a good person. It's actually, quite a turn on." He said and leaned towards her. She dodged him and went around past to behind him and headed for the stairs. "Sorry hon. I've got business to take care of." She said. He made a fist and quietly cussed. She smiled as she headed to near the entrance and stood guard.

She stayed there by the entrance along with four other cops. Lucius made his way to near her and stood by her. "You really think Penguin wouldn't take you out, seeing you with the GCPD? That you took sides with us?" He asked her. She pondered on his words, then looked to him. "I'm not on their side." She said. "Dangerous words for a woman surrounded by them." He purred and walked away. She looked at the four cops standing guard with her. "I'm in good standing with your Captain." She said and held her gun better. She watched at the door and the lights flickered. She looked around. They slowly faded out. The other cops drew their guns. She watched the door and held her gun aiming. "Somebody's coming." She told them. "Eliza?!" Jim called out. "Got the front door!" She called out back to him. She watched the front door but nobody was coming in. She moved to a window and looked outside. It wasn't just the GCPD building. She left from the entry and walked on in the dark to an area and halted as Harvey and three cops walked near her and almost ran into her. "Whoops. Sorry darlin'. Coming with?" He said and left to the supply room as the lights came back on. She followed to check the supplies and Scarecrow's goons fled. Lockers were left open and rations were gone. "They got the beans." Harvey said. Eliza expressed a little hatred and left the area. She walked on and looked around. The refugees were starting to get a little upset about the matter. Standing by the front door and arguing. She sighed and held the gun lower then watched Harvey join Jim up by the desks and she walked over. Standing on the steps, watching the conversation. Harvey said he doesn't blame them for being upset.
